I never do reviews but this is necessary.
I gave 1 star only because I could not give 0.
This stupid shop had my 26 year old Acura for 3 years rebuilding an engine that took them three times to get right. Barely. To keep this short this last time I had received the car back from them I was told I had hydrolocked my engine and bent a rod. (Driest month of the year mind you) they had spent the last two weeks with it working on the PCV system and come to find out they plugged the main vacuum port and didn’t even connect the valve to the crankcase!
Transmission was leaking upon return, (drain plug loose, mechanic shop) lower radiator hose clamp was half way up the hose (again mechanic shop?)
Oh and my car looked a bird had nested in it for the year they had it. Just ridiculous.
I also should add how rude the main boss guy Daniel is when you call him out about an issue or ask legitimate questions about the vehicle I have so much pride for. I do not expect a smart ass remark when a simple question is asked nor should I be argued with about something I already know the answer to as I have fixed all the issues they seemed to have screwed up over the last 3 years. I paid thousands of dollars for an engine rebuild that took 3 years and I have yet to see the expertise this «shop» seems to portray to have.
And they also had me sign a paper stating that they were no longer liable for the vehicle as I had voided the warranty for the rebuild for, and I quote «improper engine maintenance, hydrolocking the engine, and running it 3 quarts low on oil. «assuming a properly rebuilt engine shouldnt blow through 3 quarts of oil in a two week period of daily driving.
Don’t use this shop. Period.

I am lucky to have been sent to these folks. They provide excellent service and their rates are fair. My diesel has given me problems a couple times, and I took it to the dealership and let them fix it once. But, they are hard on my wallet. G&G got the next shot and we’re just as good and much fairer on the price. I think they will be my go-​to shop for the foreseeable future.

G & G Automotive is an honest, good, decent place and the only people I take my car to when it needs repairs. They have been excellent and, again, VERY honest.
