This place just got dinged by the health department for trapping cats and butchering them and serving them as food.

Not bad for a chineese Buffet as other reviewer’s states if you want you food hot try the hibachi grill you have 4choices of proteins and a good choices of veggies. The Buffet itself is probably dictated by the locals latins who like their food spicy.

The buffet spread here is exceptional. Never met a Chinese food I didn’t like, and this place has a large variety to choose from. I try to sample a bite or two of as many things as possible before I get too full! The ambiance is low lights cozy.

Just like every other buffet in San Angelo. If one of them would serve their food«HOT» it’d be a lot better. Sweet and sour soup was fairly decent. Hurray.

Not the best Buffett that I’ve ever had but not the worst by a long shot. Clean. Fast service and polite waitress. Enough choices to feel like it wasn’t a scam. Lots of desserts and ice cream(scoop not the fake soft serve) Worth the $ 7 price for lunch.

This was our first Chinese buffet to visit when we moved to town — we went that one time and have not(and will not) go back again. The food was edible, but not digestible. If you don’t mind it going right through you then this is the place — the options were very limited compared to what I have seen at other buffets in my lifetime, and even kinda limited to what the other buffets in town offer(we have since tried 3 other buffets). It looked like it had sat there for a long time — dull and colorless. The one upside was that we were seated quickly when we came in — so we got to eat right away. However if I had realized how much this would hurt later I might not have rushed to fill my stomach! Both the hubs and I were sick the rest of the day… Lin’s is just a laxative wrapped in fried rice and cold peppered steak.

Not impressed. This restaurant is expensive and the food is terrible. I will not be returning anytime soon. Yes i know its a buffet but quality is still very sub-par.

I went here to just try it instead of listening to the negative reviews. People complained about it not having quality food but its a buffet, let alone a chinese buffet at that, so the quality isn’t going to be like PF Changs. It was decent, Service was great. Our waitress was on top of everything, super nice. I just wanted to try it but I wont ever go there again.

You have to get the right things. Obviously not everything is 4 stars, but the Mongolian Grill is where you find the 4 star food. Try and hit items on the buffet that look like they’re fresh. Lots of desserts.

We have eaten Lin’s takeaway buffet numerous times, but went last week with friends and our 3 year old granddaughter. We were all satisfied with our dinners, not over the top ecstatic, but more than satisfied. Of the 5 of us, 2 said that the soup was not hot enough. Our little Lucy loved the sushi and the egg rolls and the spicy shrimp and the ribs and the chicken and the rice. Whew! She’s a good little eater. I am partial to sushi and shrimp a lo mein and green beans and they were everything I expected. None of us got to dessert. Next time I will try the fresh grill at the back next to the sushi, but only if I can manage to skip the other goodies.

The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. The grill guy didnt smile. When he cooked the dish, the meat was undercooked and red. The guy restocking the food seemed angry or with a bad attitude. The food selection was great but the quality seemed not so healthy as too much was fried instead of baked. For the lunch price of $ 7.79 it was still a good value. This place would be far better if they improved their problem areas.

Not as good as Phoenix’s Lin’s but it was good. It’s suppost to be a qaunity type not a quality type of Chinese restaurant and it lived up to it. Great Korean noodles also.

I really tried to like this place. We went back again the other day… although it was moderately busy, the food was as bad as I’d remembered it. They had great ice cream, and they had the Mongolian Barbecue — but that was pretty much it for me. ;_;

For $ 10& «all you can eat», you can’t beat the value here. Food is great for a «buffet setting»…fresh & many many choices… I wish I could post pics that I took. Big dessert selection too including self serve«real» ice cream. A small selection of sushi rolls, GREAT Mongolian grill & you can pile on all the shrimp & stuff you want the Chef to grill you up! The Mongolian grill is at the rear of the buffet & is the best part in my opinion. Good veggies to choose from… one of the better places to eat at in San Angelo for sure. Egg & spring rolls were decent… spicy mustard is over by the desserts for those like me who require it with your egg rolls. We were in San Angelo for work…6 of us ate there multiple times & not one of us ever got sick… actually felt great after eating there! They also have really good peach cobbler!

I was pretty impressed with Lin’s. It’s rare in a buffet that food tastes very fresh, but Lin’s somehow manages this. They also had a nice selection of vegetarian dishes, which makes it easy to support a balanced diet. The lunch buffet is an outright steal at $ 7 for all you can eat.

There aren’t a lot of choices for Chinese in good ol’ Angelo. However, Lin’s is one of them. Being that it is a run o’ the mill Chinese Buffet, the food is pretty meh. The only plus being that there’s an ice cream bar that the kids can dip their ice cream from, rather than the«gross ice something or other made to look like cream but just doesn’t cut it.» Other than that, not so great.
