I have been going to a local service station for smog checks on my three vehicles for years. To my dismay they were closed the day I needed them most. Tryed All Autos and Yann got me out in a half hour! Really happy I found them because I’m unhappy with my current mechanic and think I found a new place. Wish I went here sooner! Thanks for the quick service.

My initial experience was great but when I called them back twice to address and correct the problem that was never fixed, no one ever returned my call. Once ok but twice? I then realized I was overcharged for work they never did. Not happy with my experience and would not recommend.

I have never written a Unilocal review and actually had to create an account just to do so. Anthony and Yann are fantastic. They are honest and and do great work. They will work with you to give you the best bang for your buck. Friendly, sophisticated and fast. I’d recommend this shop to anyone in Marin County.

Yann is excellent. He is honest and does a great job. I was even able to purchase my own parts on the internet and have him install them. I’ve been going to his shop for at least five years now and I’ve always been completely happy. I bring our two family cars there. About a year ago we brought in our van for a tiny oil leak and Yann let us know that it would be an expensive fix because of just where the leak was, but that we could get away with leaving it untouched since it was such a tiny leak. We opted to leave it be and its been just fine. All Auto is a great shop and Yann is a great communicator and leader.

This is my all time favorite auto repair shop! Being a woman and finding it difficult to get a straight honest deal from mechanics, I am so happy that this shop has integrity. I always know that I’m not going to be taken advantage of. Many repair shops like to take advantage of women but NOT here. The work is great and the atmosphere is cheerful. They deliver! I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants to get a good job done and in a timely fashion. Yann, the owner, is a wonderful businessman and a great trustworthy person. Check it out.

I’ve been going here for years and really appreciate these guys. The staff (Yann, Anthony, Max, Arnie) are all friendly, helpful, and seem to enjoy their work. I recommend All Autos to anyone looking for a solid local shop.

Needed tires. Got the tires. Staff was competent. Nothing exceptional. Nothing offensive. Totally pleasant. I’d say go for it.

I went to all autos on the advice of my father-​in-​law and Cains Tires for what seemed to be a belt causing a squealing noise. It turned out my pathfinder (131,000 miles) required major timing belt, alternator, and brake work, with a few other little jobs. Yann kept me up to date throughout the process, explaining what was wrong and when I asked, what needed to be repaired now and what could wait. I decided to fix everything, and was so impressed with the knowledge and integrity of Yann and Antony. My car was done two days later and runs great! I feel safe and secure that they looked over everything before letting me get in the car again. Highly recommended!

These guys are smart! My car went through three mechanics and nobody could figure out the problem. One replaced the fuel pump and another replaced an expensive sensor and we were still breaking down with a little baby in the car. One place I took it to, I wont say who, replaced my license plate with one advertising their company without asking me. What I liked about Yann even after he fixed it is he stuck up for the other automotive shops, saying they couldnt find the problem because my problem was intermitent and was working when they received it and when he got it it was completely broke down. I was a little upset with the other car places but he made me realize that they were just trying to help me. The bottom line for me is, Yann… Is a good man, and I’ll be taking my car to him for now on. Thanx All Autos! My car is starting everytime…

If you like cheap or used parts with astronomical markups and if you like to take your car in to get the same stuff repaired over and over then this is your place. They LOVE repeat business! I am glad i didn’t go for the $ 2500 head gasket replacement approx 2 years ago. Car is still running like a champ. Five years of getting ripped off was enough for me. I didn’t know this until I started pricing jobs at other shops… I was under the impression I was being taken care of by my mechanic. Wrong. I offered Yann a chance to replace the last radiator at cost but he told me to basically pound sand. There are too many other good, reliable and honest mechanics around. I have many other stories about this place. Don’t waste your time and money here. AVOID!!!
Yann is full of crap. I stand by my statement. AVOID. I should document this with the BBB!!!

What makes a good mechanic a GREAT mechanic? In my opinion 2 things…
1. HONESTY — Often you don’t know whether you really need to change or repair a part, you rely on your mechanic to be honest with you and only do what is needed not just pad their pockets!
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE — People expect good service but few are willing to give it. Customers do not expect a provider to be perfect, but they do expect things to be fixed if something goes wrong!
I am so glad that I found All Autos! Yann D’Argnce runs the shop, and has been wonderful to me. As a woman, I always feel that I could be taken advantage of when I have my car serviced (and I have been before in major ways). But Yann is honest and he provides excellent customer service.
He has told me that things do not need to be done, when I thought for sure they did. And the best story of all…
I had my brakes done, but they had a major problem after only a few thousand miles. Yann fixed them again at NO CHARGE. He would not even let me pay for the labor. That is the definition of GREAT SERVICE.
I won’t take my car anywhere else!

I have been bringing my 97 Acura to them for years of service. Being a student (aka broke) and female, I’ve had a number of bad run-​ins with unscrupulous auto-​repair places over the years who’ve cost me way more than I could afford. I was referred to All Autos Inc. by a mutual friend who raved about them and I couldn’t agree more.
These guys are top-​notch! Trustworthy, friendly, and honest. They’ll check out your car and give tiered recommendations for top-​priority repairs and what might be coming up next. They’ll work with you if you say you can’t afford a particular part quote. They have a great network of other businesses to refer to (I had great experiences with muffler work and a new windshield when I needed them). Their customers are loyal and long-​term for good reason.

I just got off the phone with Yann who reviewed my car-​repair history and gave me details on what recommendations I can make to my new auto-​repair shop when I find one. Courteous, polite, and helpful as always.

Yann and his crew are great. I have trusted them with the maintenance of and diagnostic work on two vehicles (an old Ranger and a 97 Civic). Every time, they have provided fast and reliable service without charging me an arm and a leg. I feel lucky to be so close to them.

Yann and his team provide superior service. For many years now I have received accurate diagnostics with quality repairs and maintenance work. Prices are very fair. They really deserve all 5 stars!

In the city, I had a mechanic I loved and trusted. Since I moved to Marin, I’ve been searching and searching. I took my car to the dealer (begrudgingly) and always left with a bad feeling. I felt like they charged me just to walk in the door.
Then, I found Yann at All Auto. He is the best! He does great work, in a timely manner, without overcharging. Several times I’ve gone in there with potentially expenses problems and each time, they were, luckily, small repairs. I never had to worry that he would overcharge me or recommend service that I didn’t need.
In fact, I recently purchased a new car and he had his staff look over it for me right on the spot without charging me a penny.
I would recommend Yann and All Autos to anyone who asked without hesitation!
PS I’m shocked by what Scott has to say. I’m the type to call around for prices and Yann’s prices are always fair/​low. Toscalito was one of the places I called to look at my Accord before finding All Autos and they wanted $ 120 just to do an estimate — which is outrageous!!! Yann charged nothing…

I’ve got a 2006 Toyota Sienna Minivan. The OEM GPS system started messing up, not being accurate, often showing my position in the middle of the bay or ocean. I use the system all the time and totally rely on it.
I went to my mechanic in San Rafael, Easy Automotive. They said they can’t work on it, I’d have to go to Toyota. I took it to Toyota. They told me it would be $ 130 to diagnose and I’d need to leave the car. It concerned me because it’s such a proprietary system. If Toyota came back and said it will be $ 500 more to fix it, there is no one I can go to for a second opinion.
Cain’s Tires in San Rafael does my tires and brakes. They’ve been around forever and I have great trust in them. I didn’t expect them to solve this, but thought they might be able to suggest someone who could help me. I stopped by and Barry referred me to Yans at All Autos. He told me if anyone could help me, Yans could.
I stopped in and saw Yans. He took down my info and told me he’d make a few calls. He called me a couple of hours later and told me he’d learned that by simply buying the latest Toyota GPS DVD upgrade for $ 200 at Toyota, it would fix the problem. He said he learned that this problem was diagnosed soon after the 2006 model was released, and was included as a fix in all of their GPS DVD upgrades since then. I ordered the DVDs from Toyota and it fixed the problem.
Yans didn’t want any money for his trouble. He’s won a fan and a new client. I told him that because of Cain’s endorsement of him and because of his help with this situation, I’d be bringing my car to him from now on.
