I can’t say enough about Dr. Neil Kraus. His expertise and caring partnership were crucial when I experienced a painful muscle inflammation. He guided my steady recovery with treatments tailored just for me, and a series of at-​home exercises that gave me confidence when I needed it most. His chiropractic will definitely remain part of my ongoing wellness routine. We are all lucky to have Dr. Kraus in our community!

Dr. Kraus is one of the best chiropractors I have been to. He is gentle and soothing, and incredibly effective. if you avoid chiropractic because you are afraid of loud cracks in your neck, Neil can use his activator. It is so gentle, the first time I saw him I wasn’t sure he was actually moving anything, until I got up and felt a hundred times better. He has this magic thing he does to give you back your mobility in your arms (can you lift them above your head still or put them in prayer pose behind your back?). He is also so kind and patient and non-​judgmental and helpful and supportive. As far as I’m concerned, he’s my chiropractor for life.

I can only agree with all the 5 star reviews. Every word I read is consistent with my experience and results. I was hesitant and sceptical about visiting a Chiropractor, but accepted a trusted professionals recommendation. Could not be happier with my visits, his knowledge, explanations and advice. I recommend him highly to anyone.

My chiropractor is amazing. I went in this morning unable to turn my head and now, although I am not yet «perfect», at least I’m not a hazard on the road!
It’s magic. So much less pain and I believe after a few more visits I will be back to my old self… or better.

Dr. Kraus is amazing. I suffer from sciatica, which is extremely painful. I have had two back surgeries. I am in constant pain, which Dr. Kraus somehow is able to relieve. I have been treated by other chiropractors, but no one is as good as Dr. Kraus.

Dr. Kraus is wonderful! Things that stand out for me about his practice:
1. He takes his time — I never feel rushed during the appointment
2. He uses a combination of techniques
3. He listens and gives well needed advice!
4. I always leave feeling way better than when I arrived!

My first experience with chiropractic was in 1966 when my track coach took me to see a chiropractor. The results were very good and I was won over to chiropractic. Over the last 46 years I have been seen by a fairly large number of chiropractors and discovered that there is a big difference between chiropractors.
From my personal experience and the feed back I have received from friends and family that I have referred to Neil Kraus, I can confidently say that Dr. Kraus is at the top of his profession. He is very sensitive to each patient and tailors the technique and method of adjustment to each. He, also, has a very sensitive touch that allows him to discover the specific area effecting the patient and discovering what adjustments need to be made.
And possibly most important trait is that he cares.

As a ‘reluctant’ chiropractic client, I highly recommend San Anselmo Chiropractic. Dr. Kraus has been wonderful with me. An area of my back has been seized up for years, causing me discomfort when sitting. Chronic problems cannot be fixed over night, and Dr. Kraus has provided a gentle, yet effective, treatment plan customized just for me!
We’re in the middle of the treatment plan and I’ve had some movement in my back. I see relief in sight and I am so grateful that he didn’t use the force I expected with a chiropractic treatment.

I never had a chiropractic before, and I was always curious what really happened there, when I meet Neil he took the time to explain everything to me and show me how it all works on the replica spine, Which I really appreciated since I am a visual learner.
That being said, his work was Amazing, I had a stiff neck, after a rock climbing trip, couple of adjustments and I was back to normal ready to jump on the wall again
Since then I am hooked ;)

Really helped me with a painful lower back condition. Cheerful office with a holistic approach and lots of helpful hints to help improve injury conditions or to remedy those painful nagging problems we tend to try to ignore.

I have been a regular patient of Neil Kraus for many many years. I started with a backache due to my spine being out of alignment and few visits later the pain was gone. I hurt my knee and Neil worked his magic and the knee was healed, I was told I may need surgery for the injury but not Neil! He is so patient and answers every question you may have on the technique used for different adjustments.
Now I go in regularly for a ‘tune-​up’ and believe me our body needs it every few weeks.

I have visited Dr. Kraus several times now. I like him for several reasons: he doesn’t just adjust the spine, he has looked at my shoulders, my hips, my knees, which I believe all are part of why my spine goes out. He explains what he is doing, which I find invaluable. I never feel rushed as I do in some other places; I feel like I am the most important person he has to talk with right at the moment I am there. Dr Kraus is by far the most compassionate chiropractor I have ever been to; he is just so caring. I really get the feeling that he wants me to get better, not just that he is in business for my health. I would highly recommend Dr. Kraus for anyone thinking of seeing a chiropractor, and especially for people who might be afraid of going to see one. I sent a client to him who I know had misgivings and she later expressed to me how easy it was for her to be with him and how kind he was to her.
Another reason I think Dr. Kraus is terrific is he has many different adjusting modalities. He doesn’t just do a one size fits all cookie cutter approach. He has some gentle adjusting techniques and some less gentle and he asks which I prefer! Wow! He also shows exercises to help hold the adjustments. I believe he is a real find in the field of chiropractic.

I had a bad fall at work over 3 years ago and suffered severe neck pain, required shoulder surgery and a total knee replacement.

Regarding the neck: Nothing showed up in the MRI, I had 2 epidurals which did not help, and finally the doctor’s office put me on Norco-​I was taking 5 a day to alleviate the pain. However, I could barely turn my head from side to side and had a lot of pain if I tried to do that.
After being in such pain for almost 3 years I was fortunate to find Dr. Kraus. His gentle but firm treatment helped me so much. Because of his treatment I no longer take narcotics and have full range of motion in my neck, without pain.
My total knee replacement presented a new problem. Upon waking from the surgery I screamed because of pain in my lower back and buttocks. Obviously, I was tweaked on the operating table, and although the knee has continued to heal the pain in my buttocks, hips and leg continues. The orthopedist was unable to help me, so I again went to Dr. Kraus for this. He is helping me so much and the back pain is almost gone. He worked a miracle with my neck and I have faith that this problem will continue to heal under his care.
He is a very kind and gentle man. He knows his stuff and knows exactly where to release the pain. And Joan, the office manager, is as good as they come. It’s a wonderful and caring office and I plan to continue to see Dr. Kraus for life, even after he takes care of this problem. I found out that I can be pain free!
He’s the best!
