Rescue Delivery

Unfortunately, I needed someone to serve court papers so I jumped onto Unilocal and called the company that appeared at the top. In the same instant, I reached out to Rescue Delivery, who also has a high Unilocal score.
Joe Saunders of Rescue Delivery got back to me first. He operates out of Marin County and offered more attempts at a lower price than the others, so I agreed to use his service. The #1 Unilocal guy also got to me but charged double and operates in another county. He did offer to match Rescue Delivery’s price, however, but I’d already agreed to work with Rescue Delivery. (Both vendors offer service beyond their place of operation but as a newbie, I felt more comfortable using someone close to home.)
Joe made the process extremely simple. He communicated his costs and the process by phone and/​or email. Once I delivered the court documents and a check, he went straight to work on my case.
One of the two individuals being served was extremely evasive. I fed Joe as much information as possible about this person’s habits but even with 20 years’ experience and a excellent track record, the target –described as a hoarder, recluse, and sociopath– took a little longer to serve than usual. Joe told me that even if he went over the limit of 6 attempts, he would not charge me and that he’d serve her one way or another. I felt like I was in good hands.
Joe’s perseverance paid off and — given the circumstances — pretty quickly. My «proof of service» papers weren’t delivered right away but Joe checked in to let me know he hadn’t forgotten and that I’d have them a.s.a.p. — and they were — with plenty of time to registered them with the court.
Joe was available, communicative, diligent, driven, and straight-​forward. All of these qualities made my difficult time a little more palatable. Joe is a true professional and I’d have no problem referring him; in fact, I already referred him as a reliable resource to my attorney!
The only advice I’d give is to call Joe directly instead of relying on his website for information.

Rescue has done the delivery and pickup for our Sausalito law firm for 15 years. It has been great to have Rescue as a reliable vendor

One word — AWESOME! I needed a very important package picked up for my boss in Mill Valley and delievered to our office in SF. Note, when I contacted Rescue Delivery, I needed the package delivered in 1 ½ hours and counting. In summary, RD understood the urgency of the pick-​up/​delivery, were prompt in responding to my request, and professional. Needless to say, the package was delivered just under an hour, and during heavy traffic time in SF (lunch time). This is the best courier service I have used so far and will definitely be utilizing their service in the future!

I have to write another review because these guys are awesome! Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week and I needed a delivery to my nephew’s teacher. Not only did they deliver right on time, they did this one for free because of Teacher Apprec Week! Fabulous – one delivery guys I’ll ever use :)

Fast and reasonable rush courier between Marin and the city. I have these guys on speed dial.
