Addiction Tattoo

I just had an amazing piece done by Richard DC. He was a really welcoming artist with no ego or hang ups about my choices. He had me scheduled for 4PM and I arrived on time and only had to wait a little while to draw up the stencil (I came from out of town so the appointment was made via Facebook and he hadn’t seen me in person). I was slightly concerned when I saw the shop itself as it was small and unassuming, and with Richard’s quality of work, I expected him to be working in a big beautiful shop. I trusted his work though and he did not disappoint. He did my entire piece in one sitting, since I came from out of town, and he didn’t rush. He put in detail and it just came out brilliant. Very happy and would go back to him for any black and grey portrait I wanted. I originally found him three years ago because of a Madonna tattoo he did, and since that’s what I was looking for, I knew he was right for the job.

Came here for a Friday the 13^th flash tattoo this past week and boy was I surprised at the amount and how large the flash tattoos were for $ 20 ($ 13 tattoo with $ 7 lucky tip). I got a nice large piece on my arm and waited for about 20 minutes for the tattoo artist to set up, stencil out the image, etc. There was a nice line behind me for people wanting their own Friday the 13^th tattoos so the wait increased for anyone behind me (however, it was after 6pm at this point). I would imagine if you came any earlier you would have a 0 wait time.
Many people would come in/​drop in to ask about their jewelry selection. They do have a dedicated piercer/​jeweler that is there to help. He is very professional, nice, and also acts as a receptionist for anyone coming in to get tattoos.
Seems like Addiction is about to get a new tattoo artist soon (they are hiring and posting on their website looking for new artists) as the guy who tattoo’d me explained his last day was this coming week. I encourage you to go in to the shop, take a look around, and if anything come when it’s Friday the 13^th because they have the best designs for the price you pay, no doubt.
Parking can be a little tight when you drive in. There are major potholes in the front of the shop but there are dedicated parking spots in front if you’re getting work done. YOU WILL BE TOWED if you park in a spot and you are not going to the shop.

I went here to get my nipples pierced… my husband and I went with some of our friends to get them done… I wasn’t going to back down because all my friends and my husband where there to do the samething… and they all had gone first but I had this samething done about 10 years ago and it was a very different experience. While they cleaned everything properly she did not use the clamps to make sure the pericings where straight… then she used the incorrect jewelry I had to get them replaced later at a different shop that corrected what she did wrong. When she placed the jewelry in I was in so much pain I didn’t even realize she used an eyebrow bar… ugh needless to say it wasn’t healing right so I went to a different pricer closer to my house that reviled the problem when she removed them to clean them and but a longer bar in. I will say they clean everything right but I really don’t think they know what they are doing.

Clean, respectable parlor. Courteous staff. Richard DC and Lacey were the two I was interested in when I walked in. Lacey was very friendly yet booked. Richard was super cool and asked for an hour or so to draw up my piece. The guy is a monster. I gave him some artistic freedom with my idea, and he absolutely exceeded my expectations. I’ve got around 80 hours or so. He asked a very fair price for the quality of work. I sat for an hour. He was very cool and didn’t waste any time. I’ll definitely go back for another round.

I was looking for a tattoo parlor to get my tragus pierced, so I decided to do some research on the internet and by calling to see where the best/​least expensive place was. After, calling a few places, I decided that Addiction Tattoo had one of the best prices and the nicest person who picked up the phone when I called.
I decided to give this place a go, and the entire procedure was great! The girl who pierced me and my friend’s ear was very informative about how the piercing would work and the correct way to take care of the piercing for the healing process. Even better was that she offered to replace a previous piercing of mine with a new earring I had just bought there. Screw Claire’s.

I have been pierced by X many times. Probably at least 8 or so. My brother and his girlfriend have also been pierced by X. Has a steady hand and knows exactly what he’s doing. Very laid back and made me feel super comfortable through the whole process. Kept me informed of what he was doing before, during, and after the procedures. Great locations all over S.A.

Overall I had a pretty good experience. I was referred here by my co workers friend. I was dong my research for the right place to get my navel repierced. I wanted a clean location, so naturally I went to the web to see what other consumers had to say. For the most part this place had some pretty good reviews so I was sold. I called got prices and asked it I needed an appointment. The lady that answered the phone said just come on in no appointment needed. When I showed up the lady that welcomed me said the guy that does all our piercings just left and not sure when he’s going to be back. I thought this is just lovely… that is why I called in advance for an appointment so just my luck. She immediately contacted her manager for my options. She then informed me that I could just come back later and try my luck… or she is an apprentice and could pierce my navel at half the price. After looking at her face with the multiple piercing I looked at my boyfriend and said «what the hell. you can’t mess up a navel that bad, right?» I went for it… she did a great job! Quick and easy, she was very thurough about the cleaning process. I was very pleased with the whole outcome. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
