I recently bought four rugs at Basil Scaljon Rugs. The owner was endlessly patient and knowledgeable. I was treated in the most pleasant, professional manner. Although I went into the store unsure of what I needed, Basil Scaljon quickly figured out exactly what would work in my house — he knew what I wanted much better than I did! His artistic sense and creativity completely transformed the interior of my home. I am forever grateful!

The worst experience in customer service that I ever experienced was with the manager/​owner of Basil Scaljon Antique Oriental Rugs. we brought a rug in to be cleaned in the middle of June and was told that it would be three weeks. At the end of August, I went back and when I told the manager that I was disappointed, his immediate answer was «I don’t care.» He must have repeated that half-​a-​dozen times.
We still don’t have our rug and this guy doesn’t care.
If we ever get the rug back, I’ll certainly mount a campaign to inform the community what customer service is like with this company. I do care!
