Established in 2005.

Battle Tactics Academy, formerly known as Texas Powerhouse MMA, has been a premier Mixed Martial Arts Academy for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Boxing, Self-​Defense and Fitness since 2005.

Meet the Business Owner

Greg R.

Business Owner

Greg served in the United States Marine Corps for twenty years with several combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After retiring he was appointed Director of Operations for International Training Inc. While at ITI he was responsible for over seeing the training of DOD Special Operations and U.S. Embassy Security personnel. Greg is a Master Instructor for High Risk Security Operations.

Greg is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt under Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Jamie Miller. He also studies Muay Thai under Kru Bob Perez.
