Bubble Bath Carwash

I do not recommend this place for a good car wash. I spent $ 15 to basically drive through an automatic wash that is the same as one at a gas station. This is not a full service car wash. You have to vacuum yourself and there is one person working here at a time. All he or she does is take a long scrub brush to the front of your car before driving through the automatic wash. I had very few bugs on the front of my car and after the brush and drive thru, I still had bugs on the front. The vacuum is free but you will have to vacuum yourself. There is a floor mat cleaner but any interior work you want done such as dashboard, console, door jams, inside of windows, etc will need to be done by you and you have to pay for supplies from a vending machine. Basically, this is a dressed up version of a gas station car wash with a free vacuum. You might as well pay an additional $ 10 to go somewhere that will clean all of the inside and do the work for you.

Really like this one and the babcock location, most of the time it’s easy to get in get out, always leaves my car clean. And the free vacuums they provide are the cherry on top!

Had high hopes for this location. I usually use the one on Babcock which is great. Unfortunately this one isn’t as good. Left a lot of dirt on the back and didn’t clean the tires at all. Use the other location.

This is the second time I come here; both times I’ve had a similar experience. Good wash, USELESS vacuums. I tried the vacuum next to it and same thing. I literally had to remove the small pebbles from the carpet with my hand and go elsewhere to vacuum the rest of my car.
I’ll stick to my usual place from now on.

The absolute best tunnel wash in town. A range of wash options, decent driers, and friendly staff. Bubble Bath offers monthly options, pay per use options, and a quicker alternative to the full service places at a much more economical price point.

Truck needed a wash and since I was not too familar with San Antonio, I found this place close to the hotel. $ 5 for a basic wash. Vaccums are free but parking lot is small so be careful. Went through the first time, a guy scrubs the bumper with a brush but all of the bug splatter didn’t come off. Asked the manager to run through again, he said I could, but they only scrub bumpers will not scrub hard enough to get off dried bug guts. He pointed me to a bucket and brush and said I could do it myself if I wanted. So I did, took less than a minute and I went through agian and came out nice and clean. They should display that they only do minimal scrubbing.

Love coming to this car wash never a long line and moves fast also… the free vacuum cleaners make cleaning the vehicle very easy

I think this is the best deal for a carwash in this area of San Antonio.

Great job with a really dirty car. Hand scrubbed to get off all the stuck-​on stuff before going into the car wash.

I loved the Bubble Bath Carwash on Babcock. I use to take the Weredevil there every few weeks!
Key points in this car wash:
1. Wheel barrel in front drive way to clear out your dirty birdy truck.
2. Every transaction includes a .01 Charity penny. Really? A Charity penny? That still doesn’t sit well with me, but whatever! I pick up pennies off the ground 7 times a day!
3. Entrance to actual car wash gets an extra scrub from an attentive attendant. My recent time I almost pointed out this bird stuff (you know) and before I could, he went on and sprayed it hard to get off! Big thumbs up were given, that’s for sure.
4. I barely had time to check in to Unilocal and I was already in the dry cycle. LIGHTNING SPEED WASH!
5. Something in their soap makes the outside of my car smell good.
6. Free vacuums.

I think I’m falling in love with this place. My mostly-​full service car wash closed down several months ago, and I’d been bouncing around from place to place since then. Now, not so much. When you pull up, there is a whole area for either self-​scrubbing your car or cleaning out the bed of your truck, complete with a push broom and a shovel. What are y’all REALLY getting in the beds of your trucks, guys? A shovel?
When I arrived, someone was using the scrub brush, so the guy waved me forward so he could just scrub my car for me. I paid for my wash at the little machine and pulled through. He scrubbed all of the disgusting bid poop off of my car and slipped a protective sleeve on my rear wiper before guiding me in to the wash bay. I put the car in neutral and let the track pull me through. After a brief freak out because I like to be in control at all times, and this track that was moving me did not allow it, my car emerged from the wash bay sparkling clean and dry. I pulled around to the FREE vacuums and the employee hustled over to pull the plastic off of my wiper.
A full car wash with tire shine and several other things I’m too XX chromosome to remember came in at an amazing $ 8 bucks. Can’t complain!
