This hits the spot for a warm delicious plate of Turkish food. The Turkish coffee is also excellent. The place is very inviting and clean with an outdoor patio. The workers are very friendly and take pride in their food. Great place, I’ll be returning.

Veered from our regular Mediterranean grill to try this place due to the reviews. The ordering process was a little confusing. We walked in to sit down and dine, sat there for a while to get service(instructions), then walked up to the counter to order. The establishment is fairly new so it was pretty slow the night we dined. The family that runs the restaurant is extremely nice and hard working. The food was very good. We got the mixed grill platter and the gyro plate. Rice was on spot. Greek salad was very good too. Meat was well seasoned and tender. The bread could have been better… not warm enough and a bit tougher. All in all, this restaurant is great. Little kinks to work out, but nothing to keep us from coming back. Would be 5 star if the bread was a little better.

Horrible. Food was horrible, the cashier served as the waiter, basically walking from table to table not knowing who ordered what asking different tables if this was their food. Observed one of the staff physically touch food items after having been working the point of sale and not wash his hands. Wait times for food ran near 40 mins.

This was a pretty good place for Mediterranean food in San Antonio, Texas. The beef kebabs were flavorful and were served on a huge bed of rice so it’s more than enough food. It is served with salad, hummus, and pita bread.

Excellent food. We highly recommend. My kids and husband chow down the lamb while I enjoy the falafel. Rice and salad are good. Fries are the best in town. Love to keep a small business owner in business.

This place is really good! Fresh veggies, great hummus, and the falafel wasn’t too greasy. Definitely recommend this place if you like mediterranean food.

My hubby and I were visiting from WA. state and stopped in for some lamb and were not disappointed! We both had the lamb shank and it was tender, moist and seasoned perfectly. It comes with homemade hummus, deliciously light buttery rice; it’s the first time I’ve realllly enjoyed hummus. The salad was crisp and refreshing and we got adventurous with a cup of Turkish coffee. Their Baklavah was outstanding. Nutty, honey, flaky. Great prices! Everything was very tasty and the owner visited with us on the deck; he gave us great info on Texas and and displayed that famous Texas hospitality to perfection. A must visit if you love authentic Mediterranean food at wonderful prices and gracious hosts.

Eaten here a couple times since first review. It’s pretty casual but the food is excellent. Give it a try if you are looking for good Mediterranean food.

Holla! Had the chicken shawarma and the beef kabob plates! All I can say is «mouthgasm»!!! It was very tasty and the portion was filling! Tab was $ 26 bucks for refillable fountain drinks, 8 pieces of Dolma app, and the entrées for two!

Driving by, I never would have expected the kitchen to turn out Mediterranean dishes based on the lodge-style exterior. Menu was a pleasant surprise of sandwiches, soups, kabobs, and apps. It’s unclear whether there is table service or if you are supposed to walk up and order(which I did), as there is no posted menu and you seem to have to return to the counter to pay(rather than paying as you order). Bit of an unusual setup. Opted for the mixed grill plate(three different types of kabob with rice, salad, and hummus for $ 15), with a minor substitution(sub additional salad for the rice). Order took 20 minutes and I didn’t get rice or additional salad. The steak kabobs were best, the other two were extremely dry, especially the chicken. Hummus lacked flavor, but I liked how the salad included bell peppers. Long story short, there are better options in town. Staff needs to try harder. Service was limited, other patrons had to get up repeatedly to get additional items(takeout boxes, silverware) as staff did not come out to check on tables.

I love this place! The food is amazing and the owner is so friendly and sweet! He always makes you feel welcome and goes above and beyond. Oh and their Tzaziki and Babaganoush is by far the best in town! Oh and Cedar Grill is also one of the few places, where you actually get crispy crispy fries, if you order them :) If you are looking for authentic and delicious Mediterranean food, check out this place, I highly recommend it!

Omg. 15 stars. After a long day of business travel and learning, I came here on its Unilocal reviews. I really just wanted something better than a burger joint. So I may be inclined to overhype this. Still: Got the mixed grill. Zero line on a weeknight; kind service; $ 16 and 15 minutes for a meal that looks, and smells, and tastes wonderful.

Looking for good food at reasonable price and wasn’t disappointed. Had the beef/lamb gyro which I thought was delicious. The prices are easy on the wallet. Slections are basic Mediterranean but adequate. I’m definetly going back

Perhaps I was a bit overhyped about coming. For the price and taste, it’s decent. However, the food is not as tasty as some other places in town. I like my gyros with thick cut pieces of meat and my bread soft and chewy. The gyro has thinly sliced meat and is loaded with lettuce and sauce. The food portions are also pretty average to large — you will not be hungry afterwards. Two really great points about this restaurant is the service and price. The staff is very nice and courteous and asked us several times if everything was good. Well, I really didn’t have the heart to say that the food is just not as good as some other places. However, that being said I think if you are looking for a quick Mediterranean fix that is authentic tasting, this may be a good stop for you. It really didn’t meet my palate expectations. The second point is the pricing. The gyro meal is $ 6.99 and includes the gyro plus fries. That’s a great lunch price. On the other hand, you are not getting fresh cut, thickly sliced fries. Just make sure you aren’t expecting like Zorba’s $ 10 or lamb like Mediterranean Turkish Grill. Keep your expectations as a cafeteria, casual Mediterranean and you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Soo good! Great food and service :) You need to check it out if you like Mediterranean food. Tried the falafel and lamb beef gyro. Highly recommend! And the Mediterranean salad is good too! And if you’re a coffee person– the Turkish coffee is a must! Ample parking space, accept credit, good for friends and family. Very low key/casual.

Excellent falafel with a couple different sauces. Best that I have had in San Antonio. Third time here, just gets better every time, the people who run this place are so cool and friendly with great service. Nice music playing on the stereo, excellent tahini with the falafel… bliss Had the lentil soup as a Lenten option, frgging awesome and delish. Smooth not chunky with a bit of mint and lemon. Wished I lived closer
