Chubbys Auto Service & Repair

Today I visited chubbys for a repair on my back tail light of my bmw 3 series. At the end of the service it turns out it was user failure when I installed the light. Obviously that’s embarrassing to have to hear, but I was never treated ignorantly about it. They in fact showed me the proper way to install my light next time. The costumer service was great and they understood I was in need of a «get in get out» type of service. I believe I was there for maybe fifteen minutes total. I have been here before for their oil changes. They are the cheapest I’ve found for both my VW Jetta and my bmw 3 series. It’s wonderful having someone who can confidently work on foreign cars AND they don’t charge me an arm and a leg.
I was reading the reviews and it’s pretty insane to read the negative one. I can’t imagine one of the people I came in to contact with today giving me such a poor experience. Hopefully it doesn’t influence potential Unilocal folks from avoiding chubbys. You’d be spending a lot more money going elsewhere. Think twice ;)

Promised to work on car when brought in. Took car in. Waited 5 weeks being told they were busy. Told no charge since no work completed as promised. Owner talked to me on phone and demanded S350.00 although entire job to be S750.00 when completed in non stop profanity or my car would not be released. I feared for my car and my safety.

Had a great experience-​Jonathan provided great service at the desk and felipe took good care of my cars! Not a bad wait and prices best in town-​thanks!
