Geekdom Event Center

Located off of Soledad street in the heart of downtown, this venue space is under the same operations of the Geekdom shared offices down the street. A tad strange they’re in separate buildings but real estate is always a bit tricky.
Within the event center you can find an open conference room and a small meeting area in the back. The main room can host 100 people sitting down and 150 people in a cocktail hour setting.
What I enjoyed about this place is the immediate parking garage to the left of the center which has pretty decent parking prices.
What I thought was a nice touch to this area was the main projector screen for presentations, full surround sound, and av ready for music or anything that needs to be projected.
You’re allowed to bring in food and drinks which is a nice touch.
There isn’t anything that’s mind blowing or sets it apart but it’ll fulfill all of your needs. I look forward to checking out the actual shared offices and hope there’s some major spark over there.
