Hung Fong is a family owned restaurant that strives to provide our customers with the best quality, great tasting traditional Chinese food at reasonable prices.
Hung Fong is San Antonio’s oldest Chinese restaurant founded in 1938 and has served multiple generations in the surrounding areas for over 75 years.
Our dining room ceiling is decorated with two neon flags that serves as a reminder of the historic alliance of U. S and China during the 1940s. The flags were constructed nearly 20 years prior to Alaska and Hawaii entering the Union resulting in only 48 stars on our American flag.
Now a San Antonio tradition and well established Chinese restaurant, Hung Fong has been able to delight not only the locals who have made it a staple in the San Antonio dining scene, it has also become a destination to many travelers seeking traditional Chinese cuisine.
