We seek to balance ingredients of a variety of early childhood education philosophies into an exemplary program. All programs are fully licensed and meet state required staff ratios in order to provide the highest level of quality care and supervision, and our teachers are experienced and highly trained in childhood education, first aid, and CPR. History

Established in 1965.

Lanark Children’s Center was established by Robert and Jacqueline Burns in 1965. In 2001, ownership changed and we became Learning Tree Academy. Since then, we have focused on a more educational curriculum and strive to put our children ahead of the learning curve.

Learning Tree Academy is a family owned business, and has served the families of San Antonio for over 43 years (since 1965). The goal of Learning Tree Academy is to promote quality care in a safe environment.

All programs are fully licensed and meet state required staff ratios in order to provide the highest level of quality care and supervision. Our teachers are experienced and highly trained in childhood education, first aid and CPR.

Kumari T.

Manager

Kumari received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to receive her MBA from UTSA. She has been the manager at Learning Tree Academy since 2001 and has been working hard to achieve the goals set forth by this facility.
