Dog training and behavior modification for all puppy and dog behavior concerns.

We work with serious behavior issues, including aggressive behavior, fearfulness, thunderstorm phobia, growling or biting when you take food or toys, anxiety and destruction when you leave the house, barking and lunging at other dogs on walks.

We give you the tools to stop common behavior problems like jumping up, pulling on the leash, nipping, rough play, soiling in the house, and barking.

We provide training for canine obedience and manners: sit to greet people, lay down during dinnertime, go to a bed when guests come over, walk politely in the neighborhood, walk past yucky stuff on the sidewalk, come when called, wait at the doorway. These are the manners that make a dog a joy to have at home.

We get you and your puppy off to the right start with Puppy Start Right Preschool classes that socialize your puppy to all the experiences your puppy will have later in life.

History

Established in 2011.

Lorraine Martinez PhD, owner of LoMa Behavior and Training LLC, has been helping dogs and their people since 2002. She gives people confidence they can get the best help and most reliable training for their lovable 4-​legged friend. Lorraine moved LoMa Behavior and Training to the San Antonio area in 2011.

Lorraine started this business with a clear mission. She wants to give clients the highest quality behavior modification and training options for their dogs. Her goal is to make dog training simple to give clients the most effective, achievable solutions possible. She does this by bridging the gap between the world of dog training and the worlds of psychology and animal behavior.
