History

Established in 2014.

Melissa started as the very first class at the Aveda Institute San Antoniowhen it was opened in the beautiful Pearl Brewery. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and became the first graduate of the school. Upon graduation she was recruited by KCharles and Co and apprenticed for over a year and then went on the floor for a while. She fell in love with the Goldwell Professional Color line which brought her to Hair Studio Sonterra back when it used to be Great Hair Studio. After many years and co-​managing Melissa gained a wonderful opportunity to work independently. She opened her business Mane Color Salon inside Salon Boutique after growing her professional expertise over the course of ten years. She has gained many life long friends and mentors in the hair world. Her skills have grown to the point where opening her own salon was the next step and the place her hard work has brought her to be. She appreciates every guest, and is truly passionate about every service she performs.
