Description

Specialties

I teach a select group of violin students in San Antonio, in addition to being executive director of the «Cadenza Academy» and lead violinist in Camerata San Antonio. I was trained at the prestigious Eastman School of Music (BM, MM), and played for 4 years as the Assistant Concertmaster of the San Antonio Symphony.

Most of my longtime students are serious students, and dedicate about an hour+ to the instrument every day. Some play for fun, and others compete in competitions like TMEA All-State, or pursue degrees in music.

If your child is looking to start playing the violin, please contact me. I’ve started a special program of group classes specifically for this purpose.

I’m also happy to make recommendations for other stringed instrument teachers, or violin teachers that may be the best match for you or your child. I maintain a list of the most highly qualified teachers.
