The Doctors and Staff, PAs, and Nurses are awesome. They are remarkable in what they do and how they handle your situation. I had Dr Nastala as my Primary Doctor and he was attentive before, during and after my surgery. They dont forget about you after you have your surgery. He and his PAs, came to my room every day and checked on me. The Medical team is by far the best I have ever experienced. And the Nurses on the Hospital floor who tend to your needs after the surgery are unbelievably professional and personable at the same time. Its not a job for them, nor a career, it is truly their purpose in life.
I had a procedure called the ‘DEIP Flap’ and had to stayed in the hospital for a week after surgery, and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose them to care for me! The attentive care they provided prevented me from losing one of the flaps. They wasted no time at all to get me back into the OR for a vein graft to repair my DEIP Flap that failed due to my body not responding to my vein replacement. The Doctor on call was Dr LeDoux. He was awesome, and so caring. He actually offered to say a prayer while waiting for the OR to be setup. And he actually sat there holding my hand and said a prayer. That was the first time I ever had a Doctor offer that, it caught me quite off guard. It says to me, that these Doctors do this because its a calling for them, its a gift they were giving and they see it no other way then its their responsibility to use their gift to help people like me. And I am so greatly thankful for them!
If you want to see them for vanity reasons, facelift or breast augmentation, im sure they do just a good a job, but I think their main purpose is for helping Cancer patients and other major reconstruction needs.
