We were recently billed for an inspection that happened 8 months ago. The inspector conducted his business with the previous tenants of the home we were looking to purchase instead of us (the buyers), and did not even leave a report or bill. We explicitly told Quarter Moon to contact us so we could be present, and when we contacted them with our concerns, we were told not to worry about the costs.
I called Quarter Moon to explain what I had initially been told, and the manager essentially told me that I had no case because nothing about the issue had been documented. Frustrated, I asked her to connect me with the billing department, and instead she hung up on me.

We received a call from Janet today, who told us that she further inspected our claims and discovered that there was some misunderstanding regarding the inspection that day, and that they would void the bill. Kudos to Janet for going the extra mile to validate my claims and better the situation.
My fiancé and I are super happy that Quarter Moon fixed the issue. However, I do think that this situation could have been avoided from the get-​go had the employees communicated more effectively with the inspectors out in the field.

We paid our bill (after not receiving one for quite some time) and the check is showing cleared yet we are still receiving bills from this company. We contacted them and they have definitely cashed the check but aren’t showing it paid toward our account. They said they would get back to us. We shouldn’t have to keep calling them to make sure the check they CASHED and the money they have been PAID for crappy service in the first place is going towards our bill. Ridiculous. This company is poorly organized and I have now taken the time to demote the 2 star rating, which was bad enough, to a 1 star rating that they still aren’t deserving of. BUYER BEWARE.
*Update since yesterday– Quarter Moon has since contacted us and suggested that perhaps they came out twice which is why we are being billed twice. What? No, QM, you did not come out twice, as my original review reflects. Attempting to squeeze extra money from unhappy customers for a nonexistent job is not helping your business or my review. They said they would call us back and my husband simply asked for the copy of their signed invoice for this (imaginary) job. They said they would look into it and call us back. The Better Business Bureau call is right around the corner so I hope, for their sake, they call us soon. This has become ludicrous.

I had to call Quarter Moon Plumbing to complete a job for On Time Elmer.
On Time Elmer had been paid $ 30,000 for a job that was to take 10 – 11 days to complete. FOUR MONTHS later On Time Elmer finally «completed» the job. Within 3 weeks I had sewage spewing out in front of my house where On Time Elmer failed to properly complete the job. I called On TimE Elmer since they supposedly warrant their work, but they couldn’t figure out how to fix their own work and left without doing anything.
I called Quarter Moon Plumbing. They knew almost immediately what On Time Elmer had done wrong. I had to pay them $ 3,000 to do what On Time Elmer should have done.
Unlike On Time Elme, Quarter Moon Plumbing came when they said they would, did not disappear for days and weeks at a time, and worked until the job was completed.
Everyone I spoke with at Quarter Moon Plumbing did exactly what they said they would do and completed the work in the time frame they promised.
Unlike Elmer Zubiate, who never returned even one of my eight messages, I was able to speak with the owner of Quarter Moon Plumbing. Funny, you don’t have to hide when you do the right thing.
I highly recommend Quarter Moon Plumbing.

Knowledgable — Kept cost down
We had 3 plumbing issues. Robert, from Quarter Moon, explained what needed to be done. He suggested we get parts for faucet directly from manufacturer. As retired home owners, every penny counts. Thankful for knowledgable service and cost efficiency.

Okay so I discovered a water leak on Saturday l called and left a message to get an appointment for Monday not wanting to pay emergency prices. I got a call by 0800 on Monday morning and was easily scheduled between 11 and 2 pm. Luckily for me they had a cancellation and they arrived by 1000. The workers were Mike and Mike and they even offered to help me carry my groceries in. But at 99.00 dollars per labor hour I politely declined and got the free labor from my husband. My hubby then dug up the pipe and found the leak. They were done in a bit over an hour and the total cost was 141.00 I was so relieved not to get a big bill. Very happy with the service!

A slow leak behind upstairs bathroom tiled shower wall, and also a/​c drain clog diagnosed, quickly and skillfully repaired, and a/​c inspected/​serviced all in the same morning!
Great pre-​service communications, prompt arrival, helpful and polite by fully explaining issues and needed services. All employees were very tidy and thorough with both issues — went above and beyond, far exceeding my expectations!

George and his team took steps to keep my cost low, arrived on time, and worked efficiently to replace a failed Manabloc. I appreciate their honest advice, professionalism, and reasonable cost. They worked very hard on my behalf to find parts and keep costs low.

We’ve had Quartermoon out twice recently. Once for a plumbing leak and once for our heating.
On the plumbing leak, they were punctual, found the leak and did a temporary repair while our insurance company approved removing part of the exterior of the house for a full repair. Great service, a little expensive, but worth it.
On the heating issue, we called them in the morning and asked for a late afternoon appointment. They were booked, but squeezed us in. They were on time and fast, able to resolve in one visit.

This company has an EXCELLENT level of customer service that I had never experienced before. We had a communication issue with our job but it was corrected in the most professional pleasant manner. We had some a/​c and plumbing work done at our rental in which the tech was qualified for both… he showed up on time & made the proper repairs. Receptionist is friendly & set appointment the very next day. I would recommend Quarter Moon to anyone that needs plumbing or a/​c service.

Most polite and helpful people from my initial phone call. Kevin and Zach were my plumbers. They showed up early. Diagnosed my problem within 5 minutes and completed the job with in the hour. They walked me through everything they were doing. I would definitely use them again. In fact, I took several cards and passed them out to neighbors, family, and friends.

Called Quarter Moon today for a stopped up sink on second floor. They arrived earlier than expected and called first to ensure I was home. They put on booties before entering, very friendly and quick resolution to the problem. Upon leaving they explained what they did and promptly left. Experienced and professional. Good job guys, will call again and refer.

After reading the reviews of others on these folks, I decided to give them a try to resolve a backed up food disposal/​dual bin kitchen sink. Long story short — they were well worth the price: courteous, knowledgeable and very expedient. I would definitely use them again!

Larry and Brian came to our house this week to find, repair and reroute a leak after another plumber wanted to charge thousands just to diagnose the problem! They were clean, efficient, very professional and even joyful in their work! I am incredibly impressed by how good they were. Thank you for doing such a great job and skillfully resolving our problem!

I have referred them to clients numerous times and never had an issue. This time, I had an AC company (sent by home warrantee company) come out, take my money for a service call and tell me that the gusting noise was normal and tell me everything in the unit was fine. I knew it wasn’t fine. in less than 5 minutes the ¼ moon tech had diagnosed and fixed the problem that could have caused my blower motor to burn out prematurely. They also had to cancel yesterday because of severe weather. I was only able to give them a short window today and they gone before the arrival window even closed. THANKS AGAIN Quarter Moon!

I just had these guys over on Friday. My issue was pretty simple, I was replacing hose bibs because they were leaking.
I called Friday morning at 930 to schedule service and they were there by 1050. Billy and Ricky were my plumbers. They were polite and professional. The service was completed within 20 minutes and the cost was half of what two others quoted me.
I was very happy with the promptness and quality of service. I will definitely use Quarter Moon again.

Troy and Rick of the air conditioning & heating division went above and beyond to help me with a problem I had with another a/​c company. First, they very thoroughly and honestly evaluated my a/​c unit when it wasn’t cooling, showed me the problem, and recommended I go back to the company that had done the faulty work. If it weren’t for them, I would have been out a new compressor. I will never waste my time again using another company. When it comes to air conditioning, Quarter Moon is the only company I will use and I will always remain loyal to them!

Would recommend these guys for any plumbing job! They arrived on time, were very neat and clean, polite, explained what they were going to do, and did what they came to do in WAY less time than the gal on the phone told me they’d be able to. They cleaned up after themselves, and everything worked great when they left. Can’t say enough good stuff about this company. I’ll be calling them back to take care of my a/​c, as well. SOON!

Recently I noticed that there was a strange vibrating sound coming from the walls when we turned on the water. Of course, I was alarmed that our house was going to explode so I called Quarter Moon, my trusty plumber to come take a look.
They dispatched a team that morning and took a look around at the problem. Although they realized it was a city water system problem, they still charged me for coming out. That is expected but I planned to make SAWS pay for it nonetheless.
SAWS then came out immediately and took a look. They said it was a problem the plumber needed to do. I needed a new pressure valve, something Quarter Moon overlooked…
So why 5 stars? Well. when I called Quarter moon back — not only did they immediately come back, they fixed the problem, replaced my faucet that had been leaking, refunded all of my money and the manager gave a very sincere apology.
Huh? Does that happen anymore? Service for free? Wow.
