History

Established in 2001.

Dr. Ramirez has served as Chief of Family Practice at North Central Baptist Hospital from 2001 and currently serves as a Clinical Professor at the San Antonio Medical School for Physicians Assistants. He sits on several hospital boards and is a member of numerous local and state medical associations. Dr. Ramirez has lectured throughout the state of Texas and enjoys being an active member of the San Antonio community.

Dr. Ramirez has quickly distinguished himself as one of the top Family Practice physicians in San Antonio, and was recently recognized by his peers as a «Top Doc» in the Scene in SA magazine. Dr. Ramirez’s strong emphasis in Preventative Care and Women’s Health, along with his belief in developing a personal relationship with every patient truly makes him unique.

A native Texan, Dr. Ramirez received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, attended Harvard and Rice University, and completed his medical training from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Ramirez completed his residency in Family Practice and Women’s Health from the University of Texas at Houston.
