I got my first sugar wax and first Brazilian. I was nervous, anxious, and excited all at the same time! Mary settled my nerves made me feel comfortable, beyond a great experience. The pain wasn’t all that bad, I have a high pain tolerance. I am by far happy with my experience & totally recommend to everyone.

Had my first «sugar» here in San Antonio. Tracy was great. I have been a loyal «sugarer» for 3 years in California. Had to find my new BF of hair removal and i think i did. For those questioning if u should try sugaring the answer is YES!!!

I absolutely loved this place! Mary was amazing. It’s a small private shop but it makes it more personal and the experience was great. It was my first time being sugared and my eyebrows were entirely too think from the previous years of waxing. I don’t know how she did it, but I left Sugar streak with full, thick eyebrows and no redness on my upper lip or eyebrow area. Almost a week later, 6 days, and I don’t see any hair growth on either areas. Mary was very friendly and so professional. Already planning my next trip back!

I have been to Sugar Streak three times now. I get the full brazzilian. Tracey is great! I would recommend her for your first sugaring. I will say that it is a lot more painful than waxing. I was in shock the first time I went. That being said for me the results last a lot longer than waxing so its worth a bit of extra pain. And I’m sure if you keep up with the sugaring it will become a little less painless each time. The other lady who does the sugaring put the sugar on a very sensitive area the sugar did not belong and yanked it multiple times :/

I love going to Tracey at Sugar Streak! I was terrified and first and I can’t lie, the brazilian sugaring is painful, but far less than waxing. The results are amazing and last longer than most waxes. She is such a professional, I definitely recommend this salon for all your sugaring! (Men & women) :-)

I visited this salon while I was in San Antonio on vacation. I got a facial here and a touch up on brow sugaring. They were friendly, relaxed and easy going! Definitely recommend them!

I started going to Sugar streak salon almost a year ago. I was a little nervous because I was getting full legs and Brazilian area done and I have never been sugared before. The staff were very professional and had ways of easing my fears and made me feel comfortable. Before sugaring I always had problems with ingrown hairs and razor burn bumps in the bikini area after shaving or waxing and with the proper techniques of the girls at this salon I don’t have these embarrassing issues. My skin is so soft and smooth afterward and I just love it! I sugar about every 3 – 4 weeks and I don’t have to shave anymore! :) So now I don’t worry about embarrassing bumps. I am so hooked and I know anyone who tries this would be hooked too!

Beware: Not everyone at this studio is properly trained in sugaring. First time I went wasn’t stellar but it was fine. Just got a «full face» sugar today and it was pretty ridiculous. I have been getting full face sugaring for almost 10 years and have experienced excellent and mediocre but this is the first time I have gone to someone who clearly should not be sugaring because she did not know proper technique and did not appear to have been trained at all. She was yanking not «flicking» like a professional sugarist would do… she would yank so hard it would jerk my head. She also kept leaving the sugar paste in spots on my face similar to waxing which indicated she was clueless since sugar melts and softens the longer it is touching body heat. Sugaring is so much safer than waxing and it is a shame the owner of this shop isn’t more diligent about making sure the employees are truly knowledgeable in the trade. Unfortunately, I can’t find another place in San Antonio that does sugaring. I hate to think that this place would be someone’s first or only experience with sugaring. At least it was inexpensive.
