Low priced beer and friendly folks in comfortable surroundings is the good news.
But when they get busy service can be a little slow.
And they allow folks in there to smoke cigarettes when they want despite the 2 yr old city ordinance. That plus the restrooms could be kept cleaner and not as stinky are why the low ratings.
Maybe they’ll enforce the no smoking signs and clean up — and we’ll upgrade review.

Best dive bar ever!
If you are looking for low key, friendly staff, good music, and cheap beer. This is the place to go. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff. I have gone in by myself with a book/​magazine and have whiled a few hours away. Two walls are garage doors so they open up when the weather is seasonal. This is a beer and wine establishment only. Cash only but there is an ATM on premise. I have been going here for several years with friends and I even took my mom on a couple of occasions. She loved it!

What a great find on LoBlo! Friendly service to go with your ice cold beer. The outside bar seating is just what you need this fall.

I love this place. Everyone is friendly, the staff and the customers. The beer is among the coldest in town. Very reasonable prices. One beer is usually on sale at a cheaper price than the rest. The jukebox is superb. Great varied selection of music. You name it, it or something similar is on there. Go this weekend and see Susan, the bartender. A nicer person you will not meet.

There was a time when ice houses were everywhere the eye could see. Then AC came along to the masses and shazzam most have disappered. Luckily for us young-​un non-​hipsters (no offense) Texas Ice House is still here serving cold long necks, Cash on the juke box, and crooked pool tables. Seating is good for an ice house and the bartenders keep an eye out for the empty but be forewarned; they may be engrossed in a conversation with a regular so suck it up.
