I agree with both reviews before me. This clinic is a gem. I have recommended this place to anyone looking for an internist or looking to lose weight like one of the reviews mentioned. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be called in from the waiting room to the back for vitals. No long waits in the exam room either(giving way to curiosity to explore cabinets, spend more unnecessary time on my phone, or study random laminated medical exam room posters). Time with doctor is always thorough and efficient. I never feel rushed and I walk away feeling confident my health needs have been met.

I don’t usually write reviews, however I felt I have to share this jewel with others. I have struggled with my weight since after my first baby. even though I have eaten a healthy diet and exercised with a trainer I still have been unable to get back to my pre pregnancy weight. i was begining to lose hope and feel like a failure until I was recommended the clinic by a co worker. I am very happy I went. the doctor is very kind and spent the time to answer all my questions. I am on the hcg and phentermine combo with weekly shots. the first month I lost 17 pounds and now 3 ½ weeks into the second month I have already lost 12 more pounds. I am almost at my goal weight! as far as the clinic itself it’s a great little place, the staff is great, wait times are short, I have never waited more than 10 minutes even to see the doctor.

I visited the clinic for the first time on 3Sept13. To start, the receptionist was great! She pointed me to online forms that I could fill out in advance and I was very grateful she could get me seen on the same day. The nurse, Bobby, was awesome! I have a fear of needles and have been treated coldly in the past by nurses that just want me to «hurry up, sit down, and realize it isn’t going to hurt that bad.» This was NOT my experience at the Women’s Comprehensive Clinic for Internal Medicine! Bobby was kind and cheerful which did wonders for putting me at ease about my blood draw. She is very skilled at her craft. I was also impressed with Dr. Rosemary Castoreno. She takes a comprehensive approach to women’s health concerns and does not seek to quickly write prescriptions and over-medicate patients, I loved this about her. She took time to listen to my concerns and made a little extra time available for her staff to draw my blood, given I was so nervous about it. The location is very convenient to Joint Base San Antonio as well as I-35 and 281. They have only been in this location for three weeks but are off to a great start!
