David H Heisler

I hired David Heisler on a family law matter. I fell for his listing as a Fathers Rights Advocate, don’t buy into that. At first David was attentive & agreed I had a strong case. One big issue on my case was that, my attorney prior to him failed to inform me that a 730 was not the forum to vent on how the mom is a alienating, deceptive individual. Because I went into the exam with dip s_​_​t Suiter from Riverside (my opinion only) with the intentions on telling him about my sons moms alienating tactics, this back fired on me. David told me that he went to Suiters wedding and was a friend of his, he said he would discuss my exam with Suiter and see what can be done. David also expressed to me that we could have a 733 exam done to have another report to counter Suiters. I was all in for this plan, it never happened, despite me bringing David’s office very tangible evidence that proved why I told Suiter what I did about moms alienating tactics, he was to busy to give it the attention it deserved, therefore, when it was time for trial, David never presented it to the judge. When the opposing attorney would say something that should of required discovery to confirm it was true, once again, David said NOTHING. I have since found an attorney that is slowly undoing David’s short comings. I completely understand that attorneys can only present the strongest case possible and hope for a favorable outcome. David was paid 100% and gave a fraction of that to my case. If you have money to burn and enjoy utter frustration, go ahead and hire this guy!

David Heisler and his office staff are the biggest waste of money. If he makes you think that he actually cares about your child custody case… he is full of it. It is all about the money to him, this is why he always insist on continuing while in court (that’s if he shows up!!) Don’t put your childs well being in his hands… he can care less. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Hiring David H. Heisler is one off the worst mistakes I’ve made in my life. The man will say and promise you anything so that you keep paying. Then look at you directly and blatantly lie he did not. He was not only late to every court appearance but when he finally showed up he was clueless. Then without telling me before hand, I found out that Mr. Heisler is hard of hearing. Which means you cannot even speak to him in court without either yelling at him or letting everyone know what your saying or asking. He is not engaged other than what you tell him and is more into socializing with other attorneys and/​or his acquaintances while at court on «Your» time. He is an actor before he is an attorney… It shows. He puts on a great show when you are paying. But don’t expect much in court if anything at all. Choose another attorney if you want to actually win your case and save your money. Be aware he has a temper and keeps it well hidden. I witnessed a glimpse of this outburst when he took a tantrum while I was in his office. It was directed at one of his employees and not me. But… not good to see or hear. I had to share this so that you don’t go through the same thing I did.
Save your money and time… go elsewhere!

Family law is dictated by Supreme Court cases. I hired Heisler specifically to prove change of circumstance, perjury, and to prevent frivolous litigation from opposing party. I built a increasing schedule myself and Heisler failed to show for court dates, failed to exercise due diligence in making my requests to the court. The judge ruled move-​away based on ‘no change of circumstance’ that Heisler insisted for a year «did not matter.» I pleaded with him to argue the evidence for parental alienation and perjury by opposing party’s witnesses. Heisler refuses to listen and will entangle you in battles with his staff whom he uses as a scapegoat for his negligence. If you have any questions I have the details. I was deemed a fit parent by three mediators, I lost my daughter to move-​away, and Heisler gained over $ 20,000 of mine and when gavel fell he said «you can move to her state!»

My family has used David Heisler from everything from custody issues to divorce for the over 20 years! He is handling my boyfriends divorce right now! My parents started using him for custody of my nephews and nieces since 1993. They are known grown with children of their own. My dad found his business card in a gutter after he and my mom prayed for God to show them where to find an attorney… This was the best find ever. We have never lost a case by using David heisler. He is willing to even travel a short distance to represent you. He helped me with a divorce 14 years ago and brought my ex husband and HIS attorney to their knees. I got everything I asked for. Every child custody issue I ever had when I raised my other nephews I won when David Heisler represented me and my family members. EVERYONE from the bailiff to the court reporter to the judge knows him from San Bernardino to the high desert. He is treated like a celebrity and trust me when you see and feel him work in the courtroom you will know why. S courtroom appearances are always performances and when it’s you and your children or livelihood he is protected you feel safe and secure with David by your side. We have successfully used David for ALL our many issues we’ve had over the years and he’s never lost or let us done. Ask yourself is it worth the cost to insure victory? My answer has always been, yes it is. And that’s what I’ve had with David Heisler standing next to me.

Thank you Mr. Heisler!!! You got me custody of both of my children, when two other attorneys could not. This battle with my ex had been going on for over a year and in a matter of 5 months I now have custody. He totally thinks outside the box. I can’t thank him and his staff enough. Without them I would still be fighting this nasty nasty battle. I would recommend him in a heart beat

This is by far the biggest waste of money ever. I paid him top dollar to help me with a child custody case. He gave this long detailed speech, made me feel like we were going to get things done. Got in to court and all he did was ramble. Didn’t seam like he had a clue what was written up in his own reports that his office submitted. On top of all that his staff is horrible. I continuously told them my faïence will be calling on my behalf when I’m at work. Every time she was given attitude. I finally got a new attorney and didn’t even finish out all the money I had on his account that I paid in advance.

This is my first review… EVER! That should speak for itself right then and there. The Heisler team has horrible following up skills. Lawyers aren’t cheap everyone knows that but you don’t know bad service until you actually receive it. I wouldn’t recommend him to a stranger let alone a friend or family member.

I contracted David Heisler’ office in a child custody case about a year ago. From the moment I met this guy, I could tell he was a scumbag. This is the thing: at the time, when desperate for help in a «world» I knew nothing about, I looked past that. Now, in hindsight, after seeing his work ethic and dealing with his RUDE staff, I KNOW there is much better out there. There HAS got to be.
Here is what I’ve gone through time and again with David Heisler. First off, after he gets your money (pre-​paid of course, with a no refunds policy), it all changes really quickly. He and his staff treat customers as if they’re a problem. Returned calls? Nope. Quick reaction to new, important issues? Nope. A genuine, caring attitude with willingness to listen? Not even close.
Secondly, this guy asks the CUSTOMER to gather evidence for him («get me this, I need this to do my job»), and he’ll show up 5 minutes before a case and asks «So, what are we asking for today?» Hahaha. Really dude? Didn’t we write this paperwork up in YOUR office? Did you read anything in preparation for today’s EXTREMELY IMPORTANT case involving my son? Aren’t YOU my lawyer? Didn’t I pay you THOUSANDS of dollars to help me save my child? Then, when he finally finds out why he’s there and you don’t have everything he now wants (5 minutes before the case in the court hallway), he cops a major attitude with his own client. Yeah, rolling eyes and all.
Look, I know that if you’re reading this, you’re probably going through one of the most trying times in your life and you’re looking for help desperately. But be warned, David Heisler will take your money and play around with a case that is likely THE MOST IMPORTANT IN THE WORLD to you. Definitely use Unilocal,or some other form of investigating, even if it’s for a day or two, before forking over cash and your hopes to this guy.

I hiried David to handle both of my children’s custody cases. He was very professional, and handled the case in a timely manner. He knows the San Bernardino Family Court Judges, and the paper work they do over there is the best. In a time that was very confusing and frustrating for me, he took care of everything. David is a father himself and knows what your are going through. He presented my case to the judge in a way I could’nt, and got me very need Emergency custody of my children. His paper work saved the DA Child Aduction unit a week of there time in court hearings, and got my kids back that much quicker. I also like to point out Davids team, the women that work for him are awesome, they were always in contact with me, friendly, and handled my situation with urgency. To sum it all up, David went above and beyond what I asked of him. He gave back to me the most important things in my life, my Children.

I hired David for my child custody case, not only did it take weeks to get a call back one of the older ladies that work for him are very rude and snappy.
He shows up late for court appearances and is not prepared when time to represent you. He got into a shouting match with me right outside the court room, he stormed off and said, get a different lawyer. Don’t waste your time, or money with this guy. Lawyers are expensive, I can’t afford to hire someone else so I am on our own. I wish I would of read reviews before hand.

Highly recommended in all possible ways. I very rarely take time out to write a review but in the case of Mr. Heisler the integrity, diligence and skill he brings to his profession truly merit such a review. My personal case has involved several attorneys and has spanned several years. I can say I was frustrated, depressed and exhausted not to mention feeling distrustful of legal representation when I first met with Mr. Heisler. In all honestly I can say that after placing my trust in Mr. Heisler all aspects of my life improved dramatically. Even though he is very busy, at all times Mr. Heisler and his outstanding staff treated me as if my case was of the greatest importance, providing personal attention and support when I most needed it. Mr. Heisler’s prowess in the courtroom and his command of the intricacies of my case was to say the least impressive. Now with one of the worst times of my life behind me I can begin to look to the future for my son and I and I owe that in large part to the excellent representation I received from Mr. Heisler. Again highly recommended!

If you are looking for an advocate, advisor, and guide through the messy realm of family law, look no further than David Heisler. I truly feel he has always had my family’s best interest at heart. David will always shoot stright with you, even if it isn’t what you want to hear. But know that in the end, he is the best at what he does.
