I cannot agree more with Keys M. Review that this place used to be good and then went down hill. I took my car here for an oil change and the blk guy Keys M. refers to I believe is the one who worked on my car. Anyway long story short, 2 days later I’m driving and my car engine almost catches fire because they didn’t secure the oil filter properly. The filter popped off and oil sprayed all over the engine. Worst part is they tried to deny they caused it and that my engine was already all smoked n melted prior to my service there! STAY AWAY

This is the only place my family and I come to get our smog checks for our yearly registration. Efficient and friendly. They always have coupons on their website or in the penny saver. Definitely would recommend it you need a local place for a smog check for a great price!

Ive been to this place at least 6 times, initially I thought they were great, this was 2011. At that time they helped me out of a jam were the toyota dealership wanted 1200 just to find out what was wrong. and Ruben started taking care of me…
By 2014 his help was messing stuff up and he was making excuses, The final straw for me was when my check engine light was on and I needed a smog check to get registration. He ran my car on the test and it failed. and then he gave me some hokey expensive BS of 3 possibilies it *COULD* be, that was going to cost my 600. I got a feeling this business was going south. I talked to a friend, and he asked me when the last time was I had a tune-​up, and I said I couldnt remember, he said that was probably it and actually did the tune up for me, and I took it to another smog place and it passed easily… the place where it was at had a more precise system for smoging and it said that the issue Ruben *GUESSED* was the problem (oxygen sensors) was the problem. So in short, the way Ruben was taking me I would have spent 600 on oxygen sensor, that he said it *COULD* be, and then if that failed it was on to the Catalytic Converter which is a 1000+ with labor, at the end of all this I need a tune up which was 90 from a friend he did an hour, that would probably be 170 at a shop…
Over the years he acquired this black boy with an unusual name, that appears to be kind, but two times he half did something and then gave me attitude…
and dont get me started on them fixing my head light that kept burning out, and the black kid *GUESSED* I guess it was the security system and disengaged it, my head light still burns out…

STAY AWAY!!! I went here today to get my car smog checked and was scammed by a man (I use that word loosely) named Ruben. After telling him I just picked my car up from the shop for transmission work, he ran the check and the car failed. After it failed and he charged me, he informs me I need to wait a few days before a passed test. He purposefully withheld this information from me to get $ 24. C’mon! Horrible ethics and not honest people. They lost out on a lot of potential business! Ladies and Gentlemen in Unilocal world, take your business elsewhere to good, honest people.

came here a little over a year ago with deal for a smog that totaled to less than $ 30(it was a coupon they were promoting on their Unilocal/​website)! it was quick and the employees were friendly. cannot complain about this visit, thanks

This business has given me nothing but great service. Their pricing is a lot cheaper than other places I have been. Will be going back.

I was lured here by the Cragislist Ad on July 20, 2013. The coupon was a great deal and it was very intriguing, so I decided to give it a shot.
When I arrived I was not impressed, yes this is a vehicle repair shop but they must put more effort into the overall appearance of the waiting lobby. They don’t have A/​C and you’re forced to wait in a lobby with dingy floors that look like no one has moped them in ages. They have an empty vending machine and a soda can dispending machine from 1975, which looks questionable.
Rene was the gentleman at the front counter. After we discussed what type of maintenance I wanted, I was asked to review the pending work, fees and sign off on the second page. Of course unlike many I actually read the disclosure. When he noticed that I was taking my time to actually read it, I felt an overwhelming stare and I looked up at him and said: Yes, I’m reading what it says, which obviously bothered him. Once I was done reading and signing on the second page he had the audacity to ask me «So what does it say?» WTF? I looked at him and said «Are you serious?» He said Yes, so I decided to amuse him and gave him the run down. I explained that it stated that they were not responsible for any valuable left in the vehicle (which tells me their employees are not trustworthy), their daily storage fees for cars left overnight … etc. I guess he must of thought I was another ignorant female customer that does not read what they sign. Can you say douche bag? His snide attitude and lack of professionalism destabilized the integrity of the business.
The following statement is there own and quite bothersome «We are Female Friendly «Family Owned Business». We strive to provide our customers with 100% complete customer satisfaction.?? VERY SEXIST and absolutely ridiculous and does not surprise me especially after what I experienced.
Total spent: $ 107.00 which included an oil change, diagnostic test and I received a COMPLIMENTARY chauvinistic display all in 2 hours on my Saturday morning… I will pass on this place any day.

What a rip off! I found this location on Unilocal,based on the fact they have a great coupon. I gave them a call to confirm the information and was total unimpressed! I spoke with Rene, he said they would not honor the coupon for certain types of vehicles (minivans or pickup trucks). Thier coupon stipulates no such requirement. I will not be buying their coupon or visiting their establishment.
