History

Established in 2011.

At Home Support Senior Care, LLC (AHSSC) is a family-​owned non-​medical senior home care staffing agency. We are insured and bonded, and we are accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

We are very proud to have served families and their elderly loved ones over the last four years, and at the same time, provided career opportunities to a close-​knit network of care providers here in the Greater Bay Area.

My name is Victoria, and I have been working in the senior care industry for over 15 years. I am very fortunate to have met amazing families and their elderly loved ones, as well as worked with a network of devoted and responsible care providers, through the years. It is truly my passion to serve and to ensure that our elderly community is taken cared of, as they have done so much for the generations that come after them. It is with the same dedication and eagerness that we at At Home Support Senior Care, LLC accomplish our clients’ needs through personalized non medical home care plans that come from the heart.

I contacted Victoria based on a flyer my sister found in an ice cream shop, and boy am I glad I did! We checked out several places before deciding on AHSSC, and we definitely made the right choice.
My mother came to stay with me during her lengthy illness, and I was in the middle of nursing school, so it was a rough time to try to coordinate the kind of care she needed. Victoria made the process as painless as possible (nothing was painless with my mom’s illness and care!) and provided me with an excellent team so I could focus on loving my mother, and school, rather than helping her with her activities of daily living that she needed. My mother was still very aware and intelligent, but needed physical help with many things, and all the helpers were incredible at providing the customized kind of care she deserved, and needed.
When my mother ended up in the hospital, for an extended period of time, the original team was mostly otherwise committed by the time she was discharged. I was really concerned about getting people who weren’t as good, and reorienting them all, but Victoria managed, amazingly to put together another fantastic team for mom’s 24-​hour care!
Every care giver had such a big heart, and such great skills. And they were all communicative in the ways I asked them to be, and just really great human beings. Victoria checked in with me, and with the team, often, and clearly really cares about her employees, as well as her clients.
Sadly, my mom passed away after another hospitalization, but even though it had been weeks since I’d seen any of the caregivers, every one of them checked in with me, and paid their respects and sent their thoughts my way.
I highly recommend At Home Support Senior Care regardless of what your home-​care needs are, 24/​7, respite, live-​in, whatever. I would most definitely look here first if I ever need that sort of help again in the future.
