It’s very very rare to find honest guys in this type of business and I’m so happy I have found Chris and Lito.
First time I brought my Mercury Villager here is to get a second opinion from them after bringing it to Wheelworks (next to Ranch 99, Day CIty). Wheel works estimatimated ~ $ 500 (Parts and labor) to replace something on my vans wheel. Showed me there was a leak and I saw there was fluid on the part they said needing to be replaced. I was convinced the part was leaking but I thought I can find a cheaper place to do the repairs. Brought it to C &M, showed the quote (from WW) to Lito and they put my car on the lift and started checking it. He came back and said there was no leak on the part and nothing needs to be done on my wheels. He noticed a «jumping» on my engine when he took my car in and he checked my mounts and found 1 of the three mounts broken and showed it to me. I noticed this «jumping» too everytime I used the van but never really thought much about it. SInce I saved $ 500 for something I didn’t need to change, I thought maybe I can get that repaired instead, and I was charged ~$ 130 for the replacement part, labor + oil change.
Today I just got back from them again, this time to check a squeaking noise from my steering wheel when I turn it all the way (left or right) from idle. Chris was the one who checked it this time. He told me, while just looking over, that it can just be the belt needing adjustment w/​c will cost me only the labor charge, or it can be the pump and will cost the most, ~$ 500 for parts and labor. So now I have an idea how expensive it can be. I decided to let them work on it and see what really is the problem. After about 45 min. Chris went back and told me only the belt needed adjusting and adjusted the other belts as well as they are also loose (Fan, aircon). An hour and a half later I was on my way home. They could have duped me and said I needed a part to replace but they didn’t. U can see the honesty there.

My car was making a weird spaceship sound. I brought it to C & M right before they closed. Chris checked it out for free and told me to drop it off the next day. I did and they took apart my engine and had my car for three days before they figured out that it was a factory recall that I’d have to get it fixed at the Volvo dealer. I picked up my car and asked how much it would be for taking my engine apart and having it for 3 days. Chris said I didnt owe him anything since he couldnt fix my car because it was a recall! What a nice bunch of people here. Contrary to what the other reviewer said, I will continue taking my 2006 Volvo here. They do a great job and care about their customers.

Had crucial timing work done to my motor, a week and a half later the car breaks down on me out of town. Just got the news that I need a new motor, might want to think twice about doing MAJOR work done here… I can vouch for the minor work (oil change, tune up, electrical)
