We recently had our wedding this past December, and wow, Danni and her crew did such an amazing job! Exactly how we pictured it. We went with like a winter wonderland theme, the results were everything we dreamed of. Everything was so detailed, she did not miss a spot! Everywhere you looked at had her touch. Let me add that we came there 6 months before and she was able to find us a great Hotel, an amazing photographer (Ricardo) and one of the best Dj’s (Darwin) I’ve ever heard,
She has it all! Everything was stress free, seriously. We are very happy with what she was able to do with our wedding and do not regret one bit working with them. We love you Danni!

Dani planned my friend’s flowers and decorations for her reception hall. I thought it was a job well done. Everything looked beautiful and flawless. From the tables, the outside and the place cards, their engagement picture. Everything was done very well. We were happy with it, and everyone thought the hall looked beautiful.

We had such a great Car Show at Church of the Highlands in San Bruno! I have to give A BIG SHOUT OUT to FLOWERS AND EVENTS BY DANI in San Bruno. Dani has a store in Tanforan shopping mall. Thanks to Dani, her husband Roni and daughter Apple, it was a HUGE BLESSING to have them as our coordinator’s. They did such a great job, I am hoping they can be there next year for our 4^th Annual Fun in the Sun Car Show. They were very professional, and made things come together with a lot more ease than we’re used to. THANK YOU SO MUCH DANI! Flowers and Events by Dani is a 5 START business in coordinating events, if you have a big event, I would suggest going to the mall and see Dani to help you through it!!!

I do not know much about this business but what I do know is they are not very respectful to disabled people. On September 20, at approx. 11:30 am I went to the Crown Plaza hotel in Foster City to attend their wonder Sunday brunch at Café Fiori. I am disabled so required disabled parking. There were 4 spots right in front of the entrance. However, all four were taken by vans with logos labeled, «Flowers and Events by Dani». We waited then finally saw someone come by one of the vans, (NONE displayed handicap placards) I asked if they could please remove one of the Vans as the handicap parking is reserved for handicap persons and not as a loading area. He said someone would be coming soon. After 10 min a man came out and went into one can and said he was waiting for his wife and they would move shortly. We had to wait an additional 7 min. For his wife to come out. She got in a second van and after 17 min. They moved 2 of their van’s. No apology for blocking handicap parking. No apology for making me 17 min late for my birthday lunch reservation where I had friends waiting inside. And no there was no other open parking that was available at the time that was close enough to accommodate me. I find a business who would casually utilize the disabled spots at their whim to be very disrespectful as well as being illegal in their parking practices. So, Dani … Stay out of the displaced parking! There are people who really need to use them. They are not white loading zones!!!’
**Danilet F from Flowers and Events by Dani responded to my post on 10÷8÷15. He stated that because there was a big Quicinera Expo
going on at the time his trucks were parked in disabled parking that it was okay that his business use Disabled parking as a loading zone for over 15 min while disabled people wait with no parking. He stated he was told it was «okay» by somebody. I suppose even though mr. Danilet knows it is against the law to park in a disabled parking spot, it is ok and just to bad for disabled customers if he needs to use it as a loading zone for a big event? I think parking enforcement in Foster City would disagree with you Mr. Danilet F. I would bet the Association for Disabled Americans would as well. «you apologize» for any inconvenience??? How about you STOP parking in disabled parking for ANY reason!!! It is AGAINST THE LAW (CA Vehicle code 22 507.8.A&B) and Nobody can give you permission to do so unless you are issued a DISABLED PLACARD!!! STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND RESPECT DISABLED PEOPLE. Perhaps disabled people and friends of the Disabled should stop spending their money at your business until you start respecting our needs and STOP MAKING EXCUSES?

Dani is by all means, a «wonder woman!» She took my vision and ran with it and delivered way more then I could possible hope for. She had everything on point! She ran the show the entire day and did not let any detail be missed. Her staff is very professional, she is very professional and above all her work is phenomenal!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to all of my friends and family for all of their events. I am so fortunate to have met her, worked with her and partied with her! Thank you Dani for all of your work, your amazing vision and design and for the attention that you gave me and wedding!

Don’t waste your time or spend a dime of your hard earned money with this thirsty petty ass slumlord old lady. Tried to rent a few items from her for my wedding and if she couldn’t make a million dollars off me in one day then I wasn’t good enough for her to do business with. She buys cheap ass shit from the Philippines and rents it out to people out here. While I was in her store consulting with her another family was inquiring about a couch she had and when they sat down on it the couch broke entirely down to the floor. Take your money elsewhere to someone who will take care of you deserve

Where to begin… First off, if I can give zero or negative stars, I would. Dani, your work you attempted to do for us was worse than mediocre. You exhibited an inability to follow simple instructions, you procrastinated with the job WE PAID YOU for, and your weird attempt in adding your own color ideas into our bouquets without our approval topped it off in making your services the worst we’ve encountered. Dealing with this business was a complete nightmare– take your money elsewhere!

Dani, you don’t deserve any stars, but for the sake of this much needed review, I will go ahead and throw you a bone. Boy, was it a horrible mistake to hire her! She was given specific instructions and completely ignored them. First off, Dani conveniently goes on a vacation a week before the wedding and doesn’t come back until the day before without notice, which did not allow us to review and finalize the reception decorations. When confronted, she had the nerve to say it was a «surprise» vacation. She was LATE to do the job that was entrusted to her, leaving the workers at the reception with nothing to do, but sit around to wait AND get paid for it out of my brother and sister-in-law’s pockets. As if her delay wasn’t already frustrating enough, she arrives 2 hours late with the WRONG flowers. This woman was told that the flowers at the reception were to be all white, but for some ridiculous reason she got a little creative and added pink (mind you, the motif was neutral/​nude colors). Finally, Dani concludes her reign of terror by stopping the guests from taking the flowers at the end of the night that were actually meant to be taken home!!! Why would she try to stop the guests from taking the flowers that were paid for? We are starting to get the idea that she was thinking of reusing the flowers for another event (which MIGHT explain why there were pink flowers in them. Could they have been from another wedding??!) I guess it’s what you expect when the contract you are presented with is constructed with a combination of an outdated version of Microsoft Word and her handwriting. She must’ve forgotten a few points and did not want to waste any ink retyping it. When confronted, she did NOT bother to apologize or offer a partial refund for her UNPROFESSIONAL demeanor. She did say that as a «courtesy» she would decorate their baby shower. Ummmmm really??? Dani, if you are going to run a business you should be able to take responsibility for your substandard work even if it means losing some money because at the end of the day your main concern should be customer satisfaction.

The bouquet we requested was scheduled for pick up at 8 pm the night before our wedding, so I was surprised to receive a call so early the day before to find out that my bouquet was ready. When I got to the shop, I noticed that many of the roses were dark, torn and not fresh, so I asked the lady when it was made. She told me that it had been ready since the night before, which is a whole two days before our wedding. Not only was the bouquet not freshly made, but our agreement was that she would add smaller fresh white flowers amongst the roses, but what came with the bouquet were fake plastic flowers. We could tell that the shop rushed the bouquet and I am very unsatisfied with the end result.

I want to give Dani five stars, she made my wedding a dream come true. Me and my wife were just amazed by the vision she put together. We trusted her with all the décor and she definitely exceeded our expectations, it was so beautiful. She also hosted our wedding and our guests were very entertained. She planed our wedding in literally 2 months. She helped us find a venue-​reception area, photo booth, and DJ. I would recommend Flowers and Events by Dani she is pleasant to work with and made me and my wife’s day very stress free.

Dani did my wedding last Saturday and let me just tell you how beautiful she made it look! As soon as u meet and sit down with her. You already know this lady has great taste and will give you a fairytale wedding. But she will also work with you if you’re not looking for something over the top either. I was really pleased with Dani’s services! Can’t wait to see the professional photos and reminisce. Thank you Dani! Many blessings to you.

We recently got married this past memorial weekend in Half moon bay. We were very happy with the outcome of the flowers and decoration Dani has put together for our wedding. I received my beautiful pink bouquet with some peonies flowers in them as requested. The 3D drape with hanging crystals behind the sweetheart table was absolutely beautiful. It helps make our sweetheart table stand out within the reception. Highly recommend getting this! The centerpieces turned out beautifully as well. We had half of our guest tables with the flower centerpieces. The other half were with the trio glasses centerpieces filled with pebbles and orchids submerged in water. Dani is very friendly. She is also very busy so be prepare to follow-​up with her as needed if you are waiting on something from her. Overall, we are very please with the results and would recommend her! It was an amazing experience working with Dani for planning my sweet 16 birthday party. We spent months pulling out decorations and planning the event with my mom. I was nervous and didn’t know how to organize much so she helped me through it all. She helped me and my mom compromise since we sometimes had ideas that didn’t always go together which sometimes took forever. Dani was amazingly patient with the both of us. On the day of my birthday I was so calm cause I trusted Dani knowing she would make it more than perfect and I was right. When I finally saw all my friends and family in the ballroom I wanted to cry tears of joy. I had the time of my life.

I originally hired Dani to plan my wedding reception, her vision is incredible. How can one person envision what you are envisioning without giving her the full details? I mean, I literally gave her a theme and she said we should do this and we should do that, and I am thinking «my thoughts exactly!!!» She is SO amazing… that I even hired her for my engagement party! Details below:
I wasn’t even thinking of hiring someone for my engagement party and I waited very last minute to make a final decision. Mind you Dani had 5 other weddings/​parties on the same day as my engagement party, and she still managed to make time for me! I know that any other event planner would have said no to me if they had 5 events on top of mine. AND most of her events were on the opposite side of the bay, it was such an inconvenience to her… I am beyond grateful. Her work was breathe taking. I can’t even put in words what an amazing job she did for my engagement party. So elegant and so simple!!! EXACTLY what I envisioned. She went over and beyond my expectations and I am SO looking forward to my wedding reception. She made a huge impact on my special day and looking forward to the big day with her :)
I trust Dani with my eye’s closed, she knew my style and knew exactly what I wanted. She is an amazing listener and has a great sense of what you like. Simplicity is elegance. And so is Dani’s work.

I originally walked in for chair covers, and I walked out with a completely different party.
So I’ve been planning my cotillion since March of 2014. I walked into Dani’s store, and completely let her take over my party, and I don’t regret it at all. I ended up canceling all my vendors, and let her change pretty much everything in one week. She took my «Under the Sea» theme from childish and tacky to elegant and glamorous.
She provided the DJ/​lighting, photobooth, chair decorations, centerpieces, draping, other little trinkets and décor that matched my theme perfectly. On top of everything she provided, she was also my emcee and event coordinator.
She created a special package for my party that catered to everything I needed, and for a good price.
The only complaint that I have is the DJ. He wasn’t very good with mixing the music, and repeated a lot of the same songs. He didn’t do a very good job of entertaining my friends.
All in all, I highly recommend that you hire Dani for your special events. She knows what she’s doing, and her design expertise is worth every single penny. She gave me the cotillion that I only could imagine in my dreams, and I can’t thank her enough.

We got married Sunday December 14, and had Dani as our planner/​coordinator. We selected an «Alice in Wonderland» themed wedding with red, black and white as our colors. Everything went so smoothly and seamlessly thanks to Dani and her team. She went over and beyond for us, adding in special details to make everything look sooo perfect! Everyone who came to our wedding loved it and couldn’t stop complementing the decorations! One of our guest said she wanted her wedding exactly like ours. The hotel where our wedding was, was even saying that our wedding was the best event they’ve seen! Her and her husband Roni even made the party even more exciting by getting on the dance floor and sharing their moves with us! I’d recommend Flowers and Events by Dani to everyone I know because she’s amazing. She made my dreams & visions come true!

Sent my neice to buy a lei for my nephews graduation paid $ 30. They lady told her she would call when it was ready for pick up. Come the day of the graduation she never received a call and since the day was so hectic it passed our heads. We call back to get a reimbursement and they told us that our lei was still in the fridge ready for pick up, we told them that we never received a phone call and that we don’t need the lei anymore. They continue to argue with us and said that we should have came to get even tho they didn’t call. Which they are probably right but anyone who had been to a graduation in their family know how crazy that day can become. He told us he was gonna have his wife call us back and left it as that.
Hour later got a call from the lady and she continues to tell us its our fault and after 10 minutes of back and forth we settled at it was a misunderstanding and that she would reimburse the $ 30 and continued to complain that she hasn’t given a return in years! Needless to say I will never go back to this company for any services.

In a nut shell… I had my wedding May 3. I went to Dani to ask about her services about a month ahead. Being that my wedding was around the corner I didn’t want to make major changes but her suggestions varied from small things to changing a whole bunch of stuff. I get it, its what she does so of course she’ll make suggestions but again the wedding was so close I just wanted to see what I could do last minute. I initially asked about a manzanita tree but I only needed one. After hearing all of her suggestions I told her I wanted to think it over. Her suggestions ranged from putting a manzanita tree on every other table and adding other little touches to cancelling my flowers all together and let her do the centerpieces with a totally different idea.
One thing that we discussed is doing draping on the stage. The venue I used had a old school looking stage and it had plain black curtains and her draping would have really perked up the look of the stage. Ultimately I decided to go with that and that was it.
The pro’s were that it turned out VERY pretty! There was off white and like a peachy color sheer material used and pretty chandeliers hanging in the center.
CONS: We couldn’t really get a straight answer for the price. At least thats how it seemed. In hindsight I think the more you get she kind of puts together a «deal» but that made it hard to be clear on how much you’re getting for what. For example she quoted us for a package of her suggestions but then when we only wanted one piece of that package her new quote just didn’t really match up. Again, maybe it was discounted a certain way but when we were talking she was just jotting prices and services on a paper it wasn’t itemized really well. It was kind of hard setting up a time to come by for the contract too. Between being at her store and working on events it seemed hard for her to be available.
Lastly when we finaly came in to get charged and sign the contract we were frustrated b/​c it was already hard to arrange a time to come by we are finally doing this and this and prices were different as we are signing the papers. So for draping she quoted $ 250 ea per panel and we would use 3 panels. I can’t rememebr exactly but the new total was different. It was like almost $ 900. My mom and I looked at each other like what? Its kind of our fault for not asking more questions but at this point we just wanted to get it over with. Then when we give her the credit card she was like «Oh you’re not using cash?» (mind you when we initially came in she was talking about for daugthers and weddings you do «anything» to make it nice and would charge it if you had to… that was kinda salesman-​ish of her to suggest charging it in a round about way) so b/​c we weren’t using cash she had to charge us tax. Ok we get that so now I remember that the NEW new total was $ 988. Again the price goes up. THEN she says «Do you mind if we just round it up to $ 1000?» What the hell… now I was feeling a little taken advantage of and we should have been like «yeah we do mind» but we just awkwardly agreed. Then she says «Oh and you’re using a credit card and I get charged $ 30 soooo»…at this point she didn’t come out and ask for us to pay for it but she was insinuating she wanted us to so we just said ok well I guess add it on if you have to. Any way bottom line it went from what we thought was going to be $ 750 to $ 1030. That all happened right before «siging the dotted line» so we left feeling totally taken advantage of. To give her the benefit of the doubt I do know that small businesses have package deal pricing and if you get things al la carte its usually more expensive and they offer cash deals and of course I get the tax thing but if thats the case just be more up front. Also incorporate what you get charged for using credit cards in the price somehow but don’t tack it on last minute. Also we didn’t ask about this but the draping did not include uplighting. My wedding coordinator said that draping usually does include it however we had our own uplighting person and she asked to use two lights that were planned for a different area. It looked great but again its something I didn’t know I should have asked if it was included or not.
We did NOT leave feeling good about it at all. I was confidant we would like what she did but the pricing/​communication/​customer service needs a lot of improvement. The draping was gorgeous but she was lacking in the other areas for sure. She seems spread to thin as well which I think has an impact on the whole experience.
