Improvised and added EXTRA protection for NO COST. I wish Oscar and his team could do every job I need to contract out for our small business. It rarely works out this good. If you are on the fence. I found out I needed to have my gutters cleaned out and I found Oscar’s Gutters on Unilocal and decided to go with him. Good Choice! He quoted me the next day and performed the work as scheduled, on time and did an excellent job. I needed to have an additional down spout installed and he completed that job just as quick. He’s fast and very polite and reliable. I highly recommend Oscar. 5 stars all the way!

Our contractor recommended Oscar to us. And what a wonderful recommendation he was. Oscar and his crew are absolutely amazing. They were out to replace our roof and chimney. The job did take over a week but it was well worth it. The job they did was amazing. I will be uploading photos of our roof for you to see. The roof was sleek and looked clean enough to eat off of. It’s not your traditional black tar.
They cleaned up after themselves and there was no mess left behind.

Oscar and his team did exemplary job of putting new roof on our house. Courteous, professional and pleasure to deal with, he was always on time and delivered end product as promised. Now we have new beautiful roof professionally installed by experienced licensed contractor and can’t be more happier. To add, his prices are reasonable and workmanship is superb!

I did not have a positive experience with this guy. His worker change the gutter and my house but the gutter is not working. When it rain the water goes between the gutter and the wood. Long story short. DO not use this guy. I’m surprise that he had good review. Do not be deceive with this review.

We used him for several jobs until he significantly overcharged us on the last one and became aggressive when we asked about the charge. Note that this was not the first time he overcharged, just the most egregious (the previous charges were in the nature of «rounding up» hours worked). This time, he charged us for almost four times the amount of time his workers spent on our property. When we called to discuss, he became angry and unreasonable. Specifically, he claimed we had to pay for his workers’ travel time. How they get to our house is their business, the clock doesn’t start until they get here. If there is an accident on 101 and it takes them two hours to get here, do I automatically have to pay an extra $ 190? What if they’re in LA, and it takes them 8 hours to get here, do I pay an extra $ 760?
We like his work but you can’t hire someone you don’t trust. It is just that simple.

Oscar recently changed the gutter on one side of my house and added a downspout. Oscar responded quickly (via text and phone), and promptly created the paper contract (which I signed).
On the day of the job, Oscar and his folks were on time, very cheerful to work with and did a great job. I enjoyed working with him. Hassle free! Thanks, Oscar!

Terrible customer service! Left 3 voice messages asking for a call back and never received one. Professional courtesy would say that you would at least, return a call.

I’ve been using Oscar for practically everything that went wrong with my house for the past few years. I’m still happy with his responsiveness and friendliness. However, I’m growing dissatisfied with his billing practice. I’ve asked him repeatedly to tell his employees to see me when they arrive and again when they leave so that we are all clear with the time spent on the project. Well, his employees never did that, and worse, they over-​reported the hours. I was home, so I knew how long they actually worked. When I complained to Oscar, he became defensive and told me his guys would not lie about the hours. That truly bothered me. Had he asked those guys to clock in and out, we would not be in that situation. I’ve given him a second (and third) chance and have finally gotten tired of his ambiguous billing practice.

I had a downspout leak a few months ago and Oscar and his crew did a great job repairing it. They also helped me put back a blown down astro turf on one part of the roof. Everything was done efficiently and included in the $ 150 minimum charge and I was happy. Oscar is as kind and friendly as before. I’d highly recommend him for gutter/​downspout/​roof jobs.

Called Oscar on Tuesday morning about getting new downspouts before painting house. Got a general quote over the phone and then he came over that evening after finishing up another job. The painters were coming out the next day to power wash and oscar and his crew showed up in the morning and worked with the painters to get all downspouts replaced by the end of the day. Just an outstanding response in a brief time window and excellent work. Highly recommended. I was even able to get a quote on some future cement work. Very glad to have found him.

I found Oscar from Unilocal after reading all the good reviews of him. Oscar’s team is fast and professional. Very reasonable price. They came to replace my gutters in Dec 2014. He had a very busy schedule and he managed to send his team over on a weekend to replace my rusted gutters before the big rain.

Oscar asked me several questions over the phone — size of the house, type of the roof etc. and gave me estimate over the phone. Estimate was comparable to estimates we’ve gotten from other companies. His people arrived right at the scheduled time and did all the job fast and professionally. I am very satisfied.

I needed to clean the gutters in my house, which was completely filled with leaves and other debris. Since I have a fear of heights, I decided to call a professional. After shopping around, I found that Oscar’s Gutters & Downspouts had the best rates and the fastest response.
Oscar arrived at my property and did the work himself. It was a small job compared to some others, but he gave it his full effort and did a wonderful job. He was meticulous in cleaning out my gutters and downspouts, and now I have one less thing to worry about.
Oscar is also a really nice guy who was honest and straightforward. A pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him.

I was looking for a gutter professional due to a clogged spout that was overflowing and the water was getting into the basement and Sub Basement. I called and left a message. I was a little impatient due to the lake that developed in our garage so I called back a few hours later. Got a next day apt, late in the day. I guess they were running late and it was getting dark so Oscar rescheduled the next morning.
Promptly at 9am, Oscar and his crew showed up. They removed so much muck fron the spout that I was amazed. It was a tough job because they had to climb up three stories on a hill to get to the gutter.
They stuck with the estimate and that night we had a good rain and no more water intrusion. Im Happy and I recommend.

In preparation for this winter I contacted Oscar (who’s real name is Alvaro Galindo), but he is so happy to get the business he doesn’t mind being called Oscar.
I made an appointment for him to come out and give me an estimate. He has flat fees for certain services. I needed two downspouts installed on my present gutters and the repair of another downspout.
Wanting to get this off my list I went ahead and contracted with Alvaro and both he and his crew were out the next day and got them installed.
They saved me some work by cleaning out the existing gutters and downspouts.
One note, the gutters come unpainted, so expect to get a painter do paint them after they are installed. There was no mention of this but then it was not implied that they come painted or primed either.
After the first substantial rain of the season they worked as designed.
He uses heavy galvanized metal to form the gutters and he also offers other house maintenance services as well.
So there you have it, quick and courteous service at a fairly reasonable price.
Like a previous review he was late for my appointment too.
