We specialize in relaxation… from the ambiance of our shop to the services provided. The charm of our shop being originally a house, we have kept the feeling of comfort and ease. Relax in our living room/​waiting room and enjoy a cup of tea, while browsing through our many lil interesting books or magazines. Winter time brings a fire in the fireplace, that crackles with warmth.

Always looking for more ways to serve our clients we continually come up with new, fresh services (such as the latest Micro-​Facial) that benefit those that come to The Invitation. We are and wanted to become a solid part of San Bruno Community and families, helping to take care of and provide for them, while remaining reasonably priced. NOT your average «clinical» feeling spa… we offer relaxation and a space that caters to you.

History

Established in 2002.

2 women recognizing the need to be a small piece of the solution in life rather than contributing to the problems we face as a society, as family, as community. So busy giving to others, we often forget to pay ourselves first.

We chose San Bruno because of the deep sense of community that is felt here. Working families, many Blue collar workers who perhaps wouldn’t, and/​or don’t go for these types of services, due to the money issue and that San Bruno didn’t really have anything like us. So we started The Invitation with a vision of keeping prices within range, and creating a space that’s welcoming, warm and very personal. We are much more than just another business, we are a part of the community of San Bruno. We are more «friendly acquainted» with our clients and their families. We offer a nurturing, safe, clean space for people to come to, we are a resource base for many other different services in the area that we know, respect and trust with our clients. We love San Bruno!

Business Owner

A pamperer and nurturer in life, I have found my bliss!

I am a «hands on» type, literally so working as a licensed Esthetician and a Certified Massage Therapist is a good fit. I love what I do in life.

The Invitation was started because we wanted to be more in the solution than a piece of the problem. With the amount of stress every day holds for most of us, we all need a release somewhere, somewhere we can go and just be. We have maintained a very casual, relaxing atmosphere here, no pretentious energy, just down to earth people.

Being raised in South Dakota and coming to Ca when I was 18 has allowed me to maintain my values and Midwestern roots, while embracing California zest for life. Life is all what we make of it.

I’ll probably never be rich because I tend to share the wealth, pay it forward and make regular donations to the Karma bank, but I’m happy.
