The staff from the Colma First Step made a jump to this place a couple years back so I decided to follow them here to feed my shoehead addiction. Prices: Their prices are generally lower on most if not all their styles of shoes except on certain Jordan releases. Selection: Unlike when they were at First Step they get most styles on the newest releases. Sizes: If it is a limited release shoe you will not find it in the popular sizes 9 — 10.5 because the employees get first shot at those shoes(which sucks for me because and employee has my same shoe size). Staff: All they seem to know is the prices and not much about what shoe is good to play what sport. Typical mall type service here where they are out to make their quota set for them that day. I’ve slowly started to purchase more and more of my shoes from the Internet as I have a much better chance of finding my size rather than hoping the employees don’t purchase the shoes I want. They also sell some of the more limited shoes on Ebay because they figure that’s a better way of getting top dollar for a particular shoe. I’m sure that Nike wouldn’t be happy with them for this practice but, hey Nike has enough problems. I check this place on occasion when I need to burn some time. I only purchase their clearance shoes and that I get my regular discount of 25% on top of that. If I don’t get my discount I usually go shopping on the net or to Shoe Palace for the same shoe.
