Best Dry Cleaners in the Area. I have been to many and I think ABC is grade A. Fast, great price, and always professional.

I brought a bunch of clothes here.
Usually that many clothes would cost me an arm and a leg but this place is really decent priced. They’re the cheapest place in my area so I thought I’d check em out and I am very satisfied.
I even had a stain they got out. I’ll definitely come back to this place.
I came back two days later to pick up my stuff and everything looked excellent.
The times seemed perfect for me and they were very professional and gave excellent customer service.

I originally came here because they offered the cheapest comforter cleaning on the peninsula for $ 20. My comforter turned out great, and I started to come here each time I needed dry cleaning.
The other day I came in with a stain on my dress that I couldn’t get out for the life of me, and they ended up cleaning it up like new! The people are very friendly, and greatly appreciate the affordable prices!

I brought them a wool jacket for dry cleaning and they returned it shrunken.

In response to the business’ comment: I did in fact bring them back the sweater and they attempted to resize it. Wool, once shrunk, cannot be reshaped back to its original size. This is just a fact of the material, so as you can imagine, it was still irreversibly shrunken.

Abc cleaners does great a great job better then I could have ever done thanks Tiffany ! I am going to be a returning customer and the fees were at a reasonable rate. I dread doing my own laundry it’s nice and convienant for me since I’m a business owner and after a hard work day it’s great to know that your company offers this service. You take a load off me.

Horrible experience! Tried this place based on Unilocal reviews. My favorite clothes came back wrinkled, covered in lint, and with brown iron marks along all the seams. They refused to take responsibility or even to offer my money back, instead expecting me to give my best clothes back to them to «try again». Then, one of the people working there even said something about the brown marks being because of my «hormones» — even though they were along the waist, the pockets, and throughout the dress. I was forced to pay them $ 50 and then take my clothes to a trustworthy cleaner to attempt to fix them.

I love this place. Men’s dress shirts are $ 1.36 each and that is the bulk of my dry cleaning! They lost one of my shirts and they totally took care of it! Love this place!

It never ceases to amaze me how few dry cleaners understand their target market. You know who needs dry cleaning? People who WORK. Do you know when most people work? 9 – 5, M-​F. Those are the hours that they need to be in the office, which means that they probably leave for work by 8 and don’t get home until 6, especially in a commuter town like San Carlos.
I decided to give these guys a chance since they were supposedly open from 7:30 — 6:30 M-​F, plus hours on Saturday AND Sunday as well. That’s rare in the idiot world of dry cleaners. Well today I showed up at 7:30 and it wasn’t open yet. Another gentlemen walking in to the donut shop next door saw me waiting and asked «Are you waiting for Philip? Good luck!»
Bad sign.
I waited until 7:45 and then had to bail because I had a 7:55 train to catch.
Stick with San Carlos Plaza Dry Cleaners, which is logically open from 7 – 7 M-​F. You know — HOURS THAT ACTUALLY WORK FOR WORKING PEOPLE.

Super Friendly, great turn-​around time (if dropped off at 9:00 am) and GREAT prices. I had two pair of work wool on the outside and nylon lined pants and a bridesmaid dress that cost me $ 16 to dry clean and i got them back in one day! Normal turn around time is 2 days. Unlike most of the other local competitors, the people are friendly and the prices are reasonable. I think shirts are $ 1.50 or something like that!

ABC Cleaners is an awesome family run business. Very friendly and reliable service. I like that they have extended hours — which makes it super convenient. What I like most is how reasonably priced they are for dry cleaning, laundry and alterations. The owner even did a same day alteration for just an additional $ 2 fee (on New Year’s eve).

Been a client a years. The prices are great as is the service. In all that time I faced only a few broken button and collar not scrubbed issues. My experience with other cleaners has always been worse so with that I have to rate it 5 stars. Plus they have gone green, kudos!

This place does the job right about 95% of the time. If anything, it is usually that they forget to do something extra, such as a hem or a button repair. My wife and I have never had the experience of them damaging any garment, and she gives them some pretty challenging stuff to do.
The guy who presumably owns the place is quite friendly and has even given us discounts (just because we asked). He does remind me frequently that he has the cheapest prices in town. But he’s right.

I just wanted to do a quick update to correct my last review. Tonight I received a very respectful message from a worker at ABC. I have been informed that they DO practice green cleaning and are in the process of getting green clean certified by the city of San Carlos. This is great news! I wanted to correct things and help spread the word. Not only do I appreciate when businesses take the time to read our Unilocal reviews, it’s even better when they take the time to respond professionally and polite, whether the review was good, bad or in the middle. I’ve bumped them up 4 stars for this.

Always happy to support local businesses as often as I can. My duvet covers desperately needed a cleaning and looked to my beloved Unilocal (of course) to assist in finding a dry cleaner in San Carlos. Called ahead to find out the cost, which was by far the most reasonable of all that I contacted at $ 16.99!
Service is friendly, from the person who answered the phone to the staff that greeted and assisted me. Turned out that the cleaning costs was cheaper than previously quoted (as I didn’t need to have them pressed, just cleaned). Sweetness! Dropped them off on a Saturday before COB, and would be ready by Wednesday at 4pm.
Anywho, I happened to be in the ‘hood on Tuesday evening, a full day before the duvets would be ready, and popped into ABC. Was totally OK with them not being done, but was willing to take a chance. Guess what? It must’ve been my lucky day as not only did I not hit any traffic driving on 101 South, but also because my duvets were ready! Woohoo… (really, it’s just the lil’ things that make me happy)!!!
Even better that there’s a dish of Brachs candies (my fav) by the cash register! Yipee!
Thank you ABC. Wish you were in SF, but happy to return whenever I’m in San Carlos. Great prices, good service, and longer hours (compared to most cleaners)!
Upon leaving the cleaners with more money in my wallet (than anticipated), cleaned duvets (folded, but not pressed), Brachs candies (butterscotch and cinnamon discs), I couldn’t help but sing the Jackson’s Five hit, «A-​B-​C… it’s easy as 1−2−3!!»

Nice and reasonably priced. I’m happy I discovered them! They cleaned my wedding dress after the big day and did a great job at a good price.

Great cleaners! Why? Family-​owned shop, super friendly service (they always remember our name) and great prices. No frills or fanciness to ABC, they definitely pass on the savings to us and beat the prices of the bigger cleaners we have tried in San Carlos.

I don’t know what other people say (Susan), but this place is great! My friend got his shirt wet and needed it dry since he didn’t have an extra in the car. So we headed here and for $ 1.25 (or whatever they cost), they got the job done in a jiffy. Also, they got rid of the wrinkles he had (he’s not a fan of ironing).
If I ever get a dingy, I know where to go!

Cheapest dry cleaner I’ve found outside of Chinatown in the city (Rainbow Cleaners on Geary was the cheapest I’d found in SF — $ 3 bucks and change per item). While ABC doesn’t do the most fantastic job and sometimes they don’t get all the wrinkles out, the reason I go there is the price. I have a lot of dry cleaning and it really starts to add up when you consider how much everyone else charges around here. Most items are $ 4 at ABC. All other places charge about $ 6.50.
