STAYAWAYFROMTHISONE. After answering questions about my medical insurance, I made my first appointment with Dr Kelly. Upon arriving at her office I was told«we don’t take Tricare»(the medical insurance plan for retired military veterans). I didn’t know ANY health care provider was excluded from Tricare, but if they are, it is not a good sign about the provider. Every hospital, clinic and doctor I have seen has accepted, and been accepted by, Tricare, except for Pardis Kelly. Shame on her…

I had an infected ingrown nail. My doctor referred me over to Dr. Leviant. I told him I get ingrown nails every month. He told me he would do a permanent removal of the nail root so I won’t get them anymore. He explained the whole process to me. I went in a week after had both nail roots of my two big toes removed and I haven’t gotten another ingrown nail. I did this in June and it’s now DEC :) He gave me instructions on how to care for my nails at home and I followed up in a week. THANKYOUDRLEVIANT! This place is great I am now starting to refer all our patients over there(since I’m a medical assistant for a doctor in Redwood City).

Dr Kirakosian is awesome! I usually see him at his San Bruno office, but I have been here too. I have foot problems from a terrible accident which broke several bones in my left foot and severed off my big toe. After reconstructive surgery and pins, you can imagine the pain and arthritis! Not to mention I’m flat footed and now have Morton’s nueromas in both feet, numbness, along with other issues. I felt like my doctors at Kaiser really didn’t care about my situation or want to solve any issues. In and out. That’s what they want. Get in, and get out! No concern for my pain or issues… I have been complaining about pain for many years and they didn’t even want to give me Xrays(apparently because i’m «so young» I guess you have to be 80 for them to do anything, and then you’ll get«oh, youre old, soo… you’re gonna die anyway») Finally, after taking xrays they discovered I have advanced stages of arthritis, which is genetic, but also due to my injury, and tons of scar tissue. They even told me to buy generic foot inserts and orthotics, over the counter. They don’t even MAKE custom orthotics(what the hell are we paying insurance for?) Dr K is caring and goes the extra mile. He really cares and wants to help solve my foot pain– not just give me pain killers or cortisone injections like other doctors do. He tries new treatments and actually wants them to work. He’s never told me «there’s nothing you can do» or «oh well, you’re so young. «like they do at kaiser! He made me AWESOME custom orthotics that have really helped. I appreciate the extra time he devotes and that he always goes the extra mile If you are looking for a great podiatrist, I highly recommend Dr Kirakosian

I was walking in downtown San Carlos today when I’d suddenly twisted my right ankle and it hurt very badly. Not knowing what to do next, I immediately called Dr. Kirakosian’s office to find out what I should do. Dr. Kirakosian’s M.A., Amanda, immediately answered the phone, quickly passed the message to Dr. Kirakosian, and returned my phone call within two hours. I highly recommend Associated Podiatry Group of San Carlos for all your foot problems.
