Mark Reis, DC

Have I never posted about my chiropractor who I have seen for the last ten years ?? Dr Reis is fantastic. Run don’t walk to see him. Love the office staff as well. He has really helped manage my chronic back pain.

I had seen another chiropractor who actually made my pain worse. I was experiencing lower back pain on my left side by my hip, and could barely walk a few days prior to seeing Mark. Dr. Reis took a lot of time to diagnose my condition, and the treatments were gentle but effective. In fact, the next day I had an amazing improvement. In a few more days, the pain was reduced significantly. I had another treatment a week later; after this, I was pain free. He is an amazing healer and practitioner.

How does one find a good chiropractor? Usually a referral from someone you trust. My wife was referred by a coworker, she referred me and now I’ve started to refer others. A good chiropractor is hard to find.
It’s clear to me that Mark really knows what he’s doing. He helped me work through a long term issue I was dealing with and my back feels great. I have a background as a cmt so I’m aware of my body mechanics, my posture and how everything is interrelated. During our first appointment he was able to diagnose my lower back issues and start treatment. I was in a ton of pain and my muscles were really tight, he was very cautious about how he proceeded. It took about 3 appointments before I was back to better than I had been in years. I’m really glad I was able to get the original recommendation. I would absolutely refer my friends and family to him.

As a woman who’s had more than her share of major surgeries – neck, back, hips – I’ve got more than my share of aches and pains. After my most recent back surgery (my last, for sure), the aches became full time. Especially at night, in bed. I Googled my condition endlessly, and finally came across a lot of raves about cold laser treatments. I researched a major manufacturer, and decided to give it a try. Through its doc-​find service, I found Dr. Reis, whose practice is very close to my home in RWC.
Dr. Reis is a total pro. Not at all hard sell. After my first treatment, I got such major pain relief that I couldn’t see him again fast enough. But he wanted to go slowly, and build my treatments for success. He got to know my condition, and really zeroed in on the areas that needed the most help. I got a lot of lasting pain relief with the cold laser, thanks to Dr. Reis. He’s also got a winning personality, and is very well versed about the types of challenges I face every day. I always felt that I was in really good hands.
Can’t recommend him highly enough!

dr. Reis is phenomenal. He really cares about the patient. I have been going to him for some time and just really appreciate his talent and care he gives to each patient! I highly recommend him. One thing I really appreciate is he does not hesitate in adjusting he is very confident and that makes the difference in getting a good adjustment.

Friendly office staff and Dr. Reis knows his stuff. He is prompt and friendly. He doesn’t waste time but just makes you feel better by doing whatever he does that works so well. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Reis is great! I went in with terrible back pain to the point where it was becoming painful to walk. I have been in three times now and the pain is gone. When I first went in, he saw that other parts of my back needed alignment and he went ahead and took care of them without requiring another visit to take care of the additional problems he saw. He gave me a handout and recommended I do several different stretches to help my back and even showed me how to do modifications to get the best stretch. I would definitely recommend Dr. Reis to anyone!

I have been going to him since last 14 years and I SWEAR my life by him. I have gone through months of therapy on a daily basis and no improvement. I come to Dr. Reiss for like two-​three sittings and I am all fixed up: D. I have paid out of pocket many times just to see him.

Mark is incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, careful and phenomenal problem solver. He is a perfect caregiver. Since I have complicated issues with my back, Mark is very careful to survey my situation, talk me through the procedures and carry them out with a firm gentleness that solves the problem. Mark also provides exercises and stretches that I can use at home to further remedy my situation. I always walk out of his office feeling better for both the treatment and genuinely positive human interaction.

Dr. Reis is professional, kind and caring. He does not «go thru the motions» ever– rather he is informed, keeps you informed and does an assessment every time you see him. He listens and adapts his techniques and tools to the situation at the moment.
I do not ever feel he makes me co-​dependent, however he provides realistic goals and such relief. He is skilled, experienced and knowledgeable. He knows how to adapt care to how you are feeling, and never over treats.
What amazes me, he always can tell exactly where the problematic area on your body is, without being told. This means he is in-​tune with what he is doing and truly knows how to provide the specific, useful, and practical standard of care… but he goes way way beyond that.
I have referred a handful of people to him, and each one has called me to say, I haven’t felt better in years! You want to do it right, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to Dr. Reis.
He is a good man and a good doctor!

Dr. Reis has been my dedicated chiropractor for years, even before he setup his clinic on White Oak Way. I used to have back pain years ago and after visiting Dr. Reis, it never came back. I still visit him once every couple of months to get an adjustment. I wish I can give him more than 5 stars. He deserves it.

I haven’t been to the chiropractor in years but I recently broke my ankle and as a result, got a pinched nerve from all the hobbling around — yay! (boo)
I was referred to Mark by 2 friends and I am very glad I went. He has been very helpful in my recovery and he is not one of those chiropractors that wants to see you twice a week forever to «keep you adjusted». He takes the time to explain what is going on and what he wants to do to fix it.
He is also very nice :)

A few years ago I was experiencing a lot of back pain due to carrying my toddler. I was referred to Mark Reis by Liam, the massage therapist that works in his office. I was always leary of chiropractors, but one appoinitment with Mark made me a believer.
Up until recently I hadn’t been to see Mark for several years, but recently returned after a car accident. My back and neck have been more than happy to be adjusted again and I’m happy that not much has changed. His office staff is friendly and helpful, the office is clean and beautiful (I must say – their bathroom is one of the nicest I’ve ever been in), and I’m so happy that I went back.
If you’re leary about going to a chiropractor, then Mark is the DC for you!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Reis for years, in my humble opinion there is no one better in the area. He is the best! I would highly recommend him.

I was very pleased with my very first chiropractor visit being with Dr. Reis. He was patient, effective, and explained everything he was doing very clearly. I look forward to my second visit!

Dr. Reis is amazing. He knows how to dig right into the trouble spot and get rid of it. I have been suffering from a sore neck for months, and he was able to fix it on the first visit. My husband sees him as well, and he always does a great job. He’s gentle yet extremely effective. He’s really easy going, and taught me some great stretches to relieve upper back tension. I highly recommend him!

I’ve been seeing chiropractors since 1991. Some were good and some made you wonder how they stayed in practice. Dr. Reis is by far the best Chiropractor I’ve seen. He adjusts me with ease. He’s a perfectionist. He relieves every last ache. It’s pretty weird to compare chiropractic care to art, but it is really something to see this man work.
I’ve referred both family members and friends to him and I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone I’ve sent his way.
You would be a fool to see anyone else.

Mark is a great chiropractor and all around nice person.
I have been seeing him for 5 ½ years now. He is professional and has helped me to maintain an active lifestyle despite a neck injury I suffered 10 years ago. He is not the «get them in as much as possible so I can bill the insurance» kind of chiropractor. In fact he is just the opposite. His goal is to get you to a place where he has to see you as little as possible in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I’ve seen dozens of chiropractors, all around the world since injuring my back in the early nineties and then again in 2000 after a car accident. In those years I have had to trust my back with many different chiropractors, some very good but many very bad. It seems there is a commonality among the really good Chiropractors, they almost have an instinct or a natural talent for understanding the problems of their patients. I had to waste alot of time and money after moving to the Bay Area to find another talented Chiropractor and Dr Reis definetly has the touch.

Dr. Reis is great — not only is he skilled and knowledgeable, he’s very friendly and personable. I trust him with adjustments completely. He’s helped me with whiplash and various other issues and has a special interest in sports medicine. Chiropractors are not for everyone, but I recommend Dr. Reis to anyone I know with an alignment issue or back or neck pain. In addition, he takes many kinds of insurance and the reception staff is extremely kind.
Not to be coarse, but chiropractors have to get quite close to you as they bend you into crazy positions, and Dr. Reis is not someone that is a downer to have in your personal space (e.g. doesn’t have bad breath, etc.). This is more important than you might think.
I do wish he had a massage therapist on site, but his is a private practice. Maybe some day…
