If you’ve looked at Redfin at all in the last half year, you’ll know very well that it’s a crazy time to be buying a house. And Mike handled our 3 months of searching so well that I wouldn’t give him anything less than 5 stars for his dedication and patience!
We met Mike during an open house in RWC back when the market was a little slower in March. We happened to be also searching for a real estate agent who wouldn’t drive us nuts or push us into a less than desirable purchase — both my fiancé and I run pretty high anxiety, and even more so because this was our first home purchase and in a market that went from 0 – 60 the minute Google announced their new site in the area. We were also working with a somewhat tight budget, with a lot of constraints on location due to our workplaces being 45 minutes apart (thus, need highway access and a fair middle ground between South City and PA). Mike was the perfect agent for us because he always calmed our nerves, went the extra mile to accommodate our crazy schedules, had a great sense of humor and positive attitude even when we were grappling for hours about various decisions in the process, kept us up to speed with the details on every house we were interested in (the minute a price drop happened on our current house, we got the call from Mike and mobilized our paperwork! Not a second spared!), patiently explained every page that we had to sign and answered all of my pain-​in-​the-​ass questions, and held our hands while we cried (JUST KIDDING. But I actually did cry once from school stress and Mike did nothing but the right thing — brought me chocolate). He was always conscientious with reminding us to get our documents in and the escrow process went without a hitch, ready to go way before the closing date.
Most importantly, Mike got us an awesome deal in a couple months at an amazing price in a wonderful neighborhood that was impossible to get into (and at the moment, seems dry as a bone in terms of inventory). After the purchase, Mike continued to provide assistance in terms of getting us settled with utilities, and hooking us up with contractors and an architect. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for a non-​crazy, chill experience in home-​buying, with a real estate agent who is caring and has the patience of a saint. It’s been a crazy journey, Mike — thanks for helping us so much, and best of luck!

Michael helped my husband and I purchase a home in Redwood City. Anyone trying to buy a home in the Bay Area knows how grueling the process can be. I give Michael 5 stars because he showed a level of professionalism and care that went above and beyond what I expected. We first met Michael at an open house on SF. He spoke at length about the market with my husband even though my husband was not interested in this particular home he was showing. He spend 45 min talking to my husband about everything and anything and that is how we decided we would ask him to be our agent. Michael has a cool and relaxed demeanor which is a great skill to have during the nail-​biting process of negotiating with loan officers and sellers. He always kept his calm and showed passion and enthusiasm with every small victory to keep us excited to stay the course. He is also very attentive and checked in with us on a personal level which is essential in the highs and lows that come with buying a home. Overall we were blessed to have him as our agent as it only took 2 months to find our home from the time we started with him !
