At A to Z leak detection we are full service plumbers who specialize in finding and fixing water pipe leaks. We use state the art electronic leak detection equipment, info red cameras and moisture meters to find water leaks without tearing up your home. All our employees have been trained using the latest techniques in the industry. All A to Z employees have gone through extensive background and drug tests.

If you have a warm floor, if you hear water running, if you see water where you shouldn’t, if your water bill has jumped in price you may have a water leak and we can help.

If you have water or mold damage we can clean that up as well.

Established in 1961.

A to Z Leak Detection is a family owned company which has been in the plumbing business since 1961. Together with its sister company, Bill Metzger Plumbing and its partner in the epoxy pipe lining business, Rikos Ltd., the experts at A to Z Leak Detection have successfully completed epoxy pipe lining for more than 1200 residences in Canada and California, including deluxe high rise condominium buildings.

We have seen every type of residential and commercial water leak and have successfully resolved the problems utilizing epoxy pipe lining, direct repair, re-​route and repipes.

I call A to Z leak after I have 2 other plumber come out to my home that completed a repair but I still I had water showing up on my garage floor. On the first try they were able to find the leaking line, repair it and replace the damage drywall.
Good price, clean and done …

We have an active slab leak and called A to Z, among other companies. Every other company treated us with urgency due to the leak being active. Brandon was scheduled to visit our house and give us an estimate. He was late and missed his first appointment and had to reschedule. He came later in the day and told me he would email an estimate to us. 2 days passed (while we have no water) and Brandon still has not responded with an estimate. I wouldn’t trust them if they can’t even follow up on providing a price.

Before we take on any client, we conduct extensive research, and go through all of the reviews. I can honestly say with 100% certainty that A to Z is as good as it gets. This is hands down, one of the best plumbing companies in Southern California. This company has a long, proven history in the Southern California plumbing industry. It is the sister company to Bill Metzger Plumbing. They have been serving Southern California with the highest quality plumbing service since 1961.
This company serves the region high integrity. This company is not some cookie cutter national franchise. They are local, and know the local market.

Good contractor. Had a slab leak that they repaired recently. Felt that their rates for the actual repair were on the high-​side (this is compared to almost the exact same repair we had done 6 years ago– $ 4200 vs $ 2300). They were unable to breakdown the hours spent on the repair itself to show where the delta was. Regardless they delivered as promised on the work and were super friendly so I can’t complain too much. There was a small issue with the restoration (subcontractor they brought in) which they did address as well.

My wife called A to Z Plumbing on Feb. 19 at a little after 8 a.m. She was told my the man (who later it seems was named «Bob») that he would take down her info about a faucet with low pressure to see if someone could come out later that day and get back to her. She noted that sending someone out after 3 p.m. would be ideal. He said that should not be a problem.
Many hours passed, and no call back. My wife called back in the 4 p.m. hour after no call and no one showing up. She got a woman on the phone, unfortunately, she didn’t remember her name.
The woman told her that it sounded like she spoke with «Bob» and «Bob» didn’t note the issue or name and phone number. The woman, while polite, was not helpful and didn’t make my wife feel that it was a big issue that «Bob» never forwarded the info to the appropriate person or followed up himself.
Rather than helping my wife, the woman on the phone insisted that since Bob said he would call back and didn’t it was OK since he didn’t promise an appointment today.
It is never acceptable to not get back to someone with a plumbing emergency. I do not know who «Bob» is, but to have someone during normal business hours who does not forward information and follow up with someone with a critical plumbing issue is completely unacceptable.
The woman on the phone could not come up with a good explanation and really did not offer a solution. Rather, she said they could come tomorrow; a day which didn’t work, especially since my wife took vacation time to come home early and wait for the plumber.
This plumber was recommended by USAA, our home insurance provider. I will be following up with USAA to let them know that this is not a reliable vendor. I realize that this vendor has received high marks on Unilocal!However, I would be wary if you call and talk to someone named «Bob.»

Brandon from A to Z was great. we had a pinhole leak that caused a lot of damage and we decieded we didnt want that or a slab leak again. Brandon and his Crew came out and epoxy lined our pipes, they were professional, on time, super helpful and very nice. we would use them for all our plumbing needs. We had three leak detection companies visit our home, hear our concerns and provide bids. Only A to Z provided us with the solution to reroute through our attic to avoid massive dry wall repair in our family room. Not only that, when Tom first arrived, he was prompt, polite and friendly. We felt he was more knowledgeable than his competitors and took the time to answer all of our questions and fully explained the process. After our time with Tom, we knew A to Z would get the job.
A to Z was able to start and complete the work immediately. Cesar and Clemente were respectful of our belongings and our home. They properly laid protective covering and taped off areas. They arrived promptly each day, let us know when they were coming and going, and allowed my children to follow them around and answered their questions (ages 4 and 7). They were also patient with my wife and me and answered all of our endless questions. Upon leaving the job site, the only evidence that they were there was the neatly taped walls. They even vacuumed when they finished
