Calvary Chapel San Clemente is a Jesus People Community of faith, hope and love under the Lordship of Jesus Christ who desire to know God through His WORD, love God through our WORSHIP and reflect God through our WITNESS. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We meet 10 AM Sunday mornings at Vista Del Mar School in San Clemente, CA. We meet for Bible Studies at the HUB located at 927 Calle Negocio, Suite O, San Clemente, CA.

History

Calvary Chapel San Clemente is a venture in faith…

Calvary Chapel San Clemente began as a small Bible study of eight people in the fall of 2008 while Pastor Holland was on staff at Ocean Hills Church. Over the period of a year and a half the group quickly grew from 8 to over 30. It was at this time that God began to fulfill several prophetic words that had been spoken over Pastor Holland and Roxie when they were first married in their early twenties. More recent prophetic words about God birthing a new work through Pastor Holland and Roxie confirmed that God was indeed prompting them to leave Ocean Hills. In November 2009 they made the decision to step out in a new venture of faith called Calvary Chapel San Clemente. Pastor Holland met with Pastor Chuck Smith and received the classic Chuck blessing… go for it. Pastor Chuck prayed a blessing over Calvary Chapel San Clemente and the rest is history. At their first service, held Feb 14, 2010, over 235 people came.

Business Owner

Pastor Holland Davis is the founder and senior pastor of Calvary Chapel in San Clemente, California. He and his wife, Roxie, have two sons Austin, Chase and a daughter Madison. They live in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Pastor Holland graduated from the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa School of Ministry and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Behavioral Science from National University. He continues to teach and lead worship at conferences with organizations such as Exodus International, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Worship Life Conferences, Worship Leader Magazine and Christian Musician Summits. His column, «In The Muse» can be seen monthly in Technologies For Worship Magazine. He is a published author with Bridge Logos, founder of wor​ship​song​.com and the host of Worship Life Radio heard at wor​shiplif​era​dio​.com.
