Took over two longboards, one with a significant gash in rail and top damage from a tri-​fin encounter and the other with some rail damage also. Both of these boards have color throughout and are near new. I could not believe the quick turnaround, the color matching and flawless work on both boards. They are new again! Absolutely awesome work for the money! Randall is a wizard and has a very impressive workshop. I cannot imagine how it gets better than this. Thanks Randall, you’ve earned my business and referrals.

Randall does amazing work! I brought two boards here to be fixed, a 7’4″ Stewart with some major nose damage and a 9 hovie with some really mushy/​eaten spots. It took a little while, and some extra work, but I can’t complain. Randall did a super great job and didn’t change the cost we originally agreed upon. Solid work, will be back whenever I need more surfboard repairs.

My carbon fiber 12’6″ SUP racer hat a puncture and was taking on water. Brought my board to Randall. He did an awesome job. Randall is an artist also and does what he can to match colors. He makes the experience smooth and has an excellent turnaround time. You can’t even tell work was done. Don’t get his shop and work mixed up with the HB shop. Thanks Randall!

He is a true craftsman with many talented skills: surfboard repairs to the T, amazing custom artwork, and carpentry. I’ve seen it all. Randal is a true artist and an honest businessman. When my wife ran over my SUP with our SUV (when it was only a month old) Randal completely restored the board to like new condition! Not only was the shape perfect but he even matched the paint and bamboo decking which was not even discussed as part of the repair. After showing it to several friends who have decades of surfing experience they all were amazed at the quality of the work. Combined with the fact that the turnaround was 1 week and I am totally thrilled! I also let him restore my childhood KANOA short board which I have owned since 1985 and he brought it back from the dead for my kids to use!
This is the only place I will go for my repairs!

Bought a 14′ Infinity full-​carbon race SUP and promptly put my knee through it on the first paddle. =(
Having used the Ding Dr. a few years ago, I again the Ding Dr. in San Clemente to treat my damaged toy.
Turns out there were 3 dings!
I was worried that working with the carbon and the paint might be challenging, but Randall nailed it! Looks like new.
Pricing is fair, turn around time was prompt, communication is quick and easy.
I’ve since been back again and got another repair.
You can’t go wrong w/​the Ding Dr.
I’ll be bringing all my SUPs and surfboards here when they need it.
I’ve been here with at least 6 boards now. Stoked to find someone reliable.

Randle is my new go-​to guy to take care of my fleet. Recent job on my beloved Roger Hinds Classic was excellent. He took great care, did a perfect job, and had me back in the water in just a couple days. If (when) I ding my plain Stew nose rider may talk to him about art. Glad we found him right off the 5, my boy from O-​side who drives through is gonna start going here to.

Randle does amazing repair work and art work.
His custom artwork is amazing. He painted an awesome eagle on my Fred Rubble. Now the board is more like a piece of art.
He has repaired about 20 dings for me. Each time I am impressed and many times I cannot see the repair which always amazes me. Several golf ball size holes in the rails were filled and reshaped. He has fixed PU and Epoxy boards for me. Nose and tail dings from our trip to Nicaragua. Crack on my beautiful dark blue Terry Martin one fin pin. Rebuilt the nose of a epoxy surftech longboard that we are restoring.
I like to keep my boards looking like new so I always get the dings professionally repaired. It is awesome to have someone I can trust and just drop the board off and know that it will be like new again when I pick it up it.
I know he is good because I refer my friends without hestiation knowing that they will be well taken care of and treated well. You will be stoked to know Randle.
