The guy up front with the accent was incredibly rude. I was shocked by the way he treated us. Hands-​down the worst retail experience of my life.
Never will I shop here again. Support one of the many great surf shops in town and steer clear of this joint!!!

The clothes are great and always get a great deal but the employees are terrible. They follow you through the store and don’t give you space, and they don’t trust anyone. Constantly telling me what I can and can’t do when I’m only looking through the clothes. And the owner is a the rudest person I have ever met. Makes me not want to shop there.

Cheap and shady ownership, this isn’t locally owned and the guy who runs the place is a clown. Name change so I really hope Jack’s isn’t associated with this dump .

I recently bought a nice wetsuit from Jacks.
I think their selection and prices were far better than the Rip Curl Store.
Typically you can expect 10% off at Wet Curl. These guys had most stuff 30−40% off!
Also, the staff was super helpful.
I’m not a pro or even advanced surfer and I didn’t feel like they held that against me either.
Highly recommended!

Great place to go to get great deals on surf clothes, wetsuits, watches, slippers and surfboards.
Super cool staff.
Wetsuits are discounted at 30−40% off on a variety models.
I usually go there with an open mind and see if they have what im looking for…
all in all I think it has the best deals in town if they have your size…
I got a nice rip curl suit that was cheaper then the rip curl outlet…

I live in San Clemente and visit this store often. I have two young kids and it is great to find Roxy, Hurley, Billabong, Quicksilver, Stance Socks and other surf clothes discounted 40%.
They have a great selection and are always very friendly and helpful. Huge selection of surfboards and wetsuits all marked down.
The store will exchange unused items but it will not give you cash or store credit. I see a lot of complaints on here about the guy that runs the store. He has always been extremely nice to myself and my kids and always offers the kids free stickers.
This is great place to shop! Thanks Jacks!

Bought a wetsuit. I never surfed in it. Realized it didn’t fit right. Took it back. The asshole who runs the store said I had used it and would not give me my money back. Absolutely the rudest interaction I’ve ever had. This guy was a piece of work. I’ll never shop or recommend anybody else shop there.

I always have to stop by Jack’s when I’m in San Clemente! The location is great; right down the street from the pier. There are other good shops and eateries on the same street. There are great brands and styles of street clothing for men and women. There are definitely a lot more items for men than for women but they have a good selection of board shorts. As for as women’s bathing suits go, their selection falls short. But I always just browse around for cute beachy casual wear. Since this is an outlet, their items are cheaper. I love the 50% off signs :)

I love this place. The prices are great, the employees are friendly and extremely helpful. Everything’s fairly easy to find and if you can’t find them there will be no problems with asking an employee for some assistance. I’ve never had a bad experience in this place and I am definitely a permanent returning customer. Can’t beat ‘em!

Just found out about this place and wish I would have sooner. The difference in service between the regular retail locations and this outlet are night and day. The regular retail locations have some of the most unfriendly, unhelpful, and snotty employees. At the outlet location, everyone was SO helpful and made finding what I needed (board bags) much easier. I called the day prior to going and the girl who answered took the time to go look and see if they had a bag to fit my board size and gave me the price. I would never get that kind of service at the regular locations, maybe management at those stores can learn something from the outlet employees.

Definitely worth stopping in here if you are near by. You may have to look a little harder for something your style but you will be glad if you do find something because the prices are saweet. Mad gear! Summer, winter, and everything in between. There are seven Jacks locations that send all their overstock and older stuff to this location so almost everything is 50%-70% off, got a pair of element shorts for $ 24.retail $ 54
