Katie photographed our family for the first time in October, and I could not be more pleased. She is so calm, and was eager to get the perfect shot. She spent time in advance scoping the best sites, and was willing to shoot much longer than we expected. It is obvious that she loves her work, and is excited to share her photos with her clients. We loved the photos, and I was so grateful that she was willing to let us decide where/​how we wanted to shoot to go, and was quick to get us the photos back. I gave her 5 stars, but I wish there were an option to give more.

Katie has photographed my family twice. She took maternity photos at my baby shower and also newborn photos of my son. I am absolutely thrilled with the photos! Photographs are probably the most important possessions in life, and I am so happy to have such amazing ones to have for a lifetime.
After having a not-​so-​great experience with our wedding photographer, my husband and I wanted to try someone new when we were expecting. Katie is very easy going and made us feel comfortable. Many of the pictures that turned out the best were moments she captured when we weren’t even paying attention.
After my son was born, we didn’t hesitate to hire Katie to take newborn photos. My husband and I were extremely frazzled (a week after our first baby arrived, go figure!). Again, she put us at ease and took her time to get the best photos of our baby and us. Newborn photo sessions take time, and she was very patient and never made us feel rushed. In fact, being a mother herself, Katie was very helpful when it came to calming the baby down and getting him to fall back asleep so we could resume the photoshoot.
We have used Katie’s photos for our Christmas card as well as our birth announcement. And of course to decorate the walls of our house! She is such a nice and talented person, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend hiring Katie to photograph your family!
