This place is awful. The Lady who owns this place is awful, doesn’t listen on the phone and hangs up frequently. I ordered 2 days ago. They didn’t have what I ordered so instead of calling me they just sent over different stuff. Also the driver didn’t have change for a $ 20 and expected me to be ok with not receiving change back. When I told them I didn’t want the order anymore and I want my money back, the driver just returned from 711 down the street trying to complete the order. Wtf. I am going to go out of my way to shut this horrible lady and her pizza down. I already have an article to post in the OC weekly about this place and their customer service. I’m coming you rude old bat!

Service is good. Prices are very high for what you get. I ordered two xlarge pizzas only and the total including tax was over $ 50. I could have gotten 3 or 4 equally sized pizzas from other places for the same cost and quality. I won’t return again.

Me and my family ordered a medium pepperoni pizza takeout on new years and it was excessively greasy! The box was wet and you could see the puddles of grease! We couldn’t call on the day of because they closed early so we called the day after and asked to speak to the manager, this place has been our favorite and knew we would get an apology or a discount for next use but to our surprise, the manager was rude and hanged up on me! Me and my family have always been coming here but this was a total let down and bad impression. Not coming here again.

bad business. the old lady who pick up the phone not even want service us. I have been waiting for the pizza almost two hours and when I call to ask for my order the old lady not even ask for our name and just said the food is on the way then hangup after one hour the pizza still not come no more order from you!!!

November 20th 6:45 I ordered two pizzas… expected delivery time 7:25. I call at 7:45…I was told «they are on their way.» 8:15…no PIzza… now I’m embarrassed because my guests are hungry. I call back again…“It’s on the way… Nice and Hot. we lost your order.” No one ever asked me to recall my order… so how did you lose it and then find it again. I told the woman on the phone with an accent (important, as I will speak to the same woman again 3 weeks later), that this was unacceptable. It was the first time we had ordered from them and we wouldn’t be again. She said and I quote «I will credit your account a free pizza right now.» I thought ok, it would have been nice if you did it for this order but that will give them a chance to do a better job next time. BTW PIZZA ARRIVED AT 8:45!!!
Tonight 12⁄14 7:11pm I call to receive that free pizza… I very nicely gave her (same woman with accent) my phone number and address after waiting on hold for about 2 min. I then preceded to remind her of what happened a few weeks ago… she says «I have nothing in the computer, what do you want to order… can you hold» Puts me on hold before I can say anything. DOES THIS 3 MORE TIMES. Then actually YELLS at me. I“M NOT GIVING YOU A FREE PIZZA. I HAVE NOTHING IN THE COMPUTER. I told her I will be writing a Unilocal review this is BAD BUSINESS and I will never be ordering from them again. Thank you for saving me the 2 our wait time for dinner tonight… i’ll head to Costco.
If you’ll notice all my other reviews. they are 5 stars. It takes A LOT to rub me the wrong way but this woman didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say. She made me feel like a teenager trying to get a free pizza. So… needless to say. you earned this.

I grew up enjoying Round Table, but the lady who owns this franchise stinks. Pizza is standard Round Table which I like, but the service Stinks (with a capital S!)
They hang up on you multiple times. They have no patience. They deliver to the wrong address, and when you communicate to them their errors; they just don’t care. Sorry for the young people who work for her.
Well, good luck. No further orders from us. See how long the bad business practices last.

THE GAMES ARE A RIP OFF! We lost at least $ 2 worth of quarters on 4 of the machines which took our money. When my daughter went up to the front to complain they said they could do nothing about it. It’s an embarrassing rip off give me a break. So come here for the food not the games.
I take that back. as I’m sitting here eating salad they’re shutting it down. Time to go home! It’s 8:53 on a Saturday night. This place is a joke. The owner must be hard up for money. Thanks for nothing!

I called into this joint and the guy was pleasant over the phone. I forgot they had this place near me and remembered their pizza being tasty. I called and the guy said it would be ready in 15 min. Outstanding! Z pizza is always an hour or more and never cooked all the way. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom plus a small salad. I love how they have a mini salad bar and will give you small cups for dressing. The pizza was hot and the salad was fresh and I got to make that, so no complaining there! This will be the go to place for pizza from now on.

The food is usually good, the guy on the phone taking your order can barely speak English. I had to repeat everything 4 times and after the order is placed and he goes to hang up the phone he goes GOSH…
It’s not my problem he is living in a English speaking country and doesn’t speak the language. I would say you need to get a person to answer the phone that speaks English that isn’t so rude before you loose customers. I have ordered there a hundred times to my home and business and never had such a rude person. I hope this isn’t the new owner.

Have you ever been to a place where you ordered and they said 20 minutes and a whole 45 minutes to an hour later your food is ready? I have its called San Clemente Round Table. This place is gross, the boss/​owner Lady is yelling at her employees in front of customers, they run out of product and cant make my order correctly, and last but not least your salad that you order for delivery is made by your driver whom has not washed his hands in the 30 minutes i have been there. Have fun eating disgusting food.

Stopped in on my way to San Diego and got the last take out order of the night. Staff was prompt and courteous. The female cashier even complimented me. They have awesome arcade games and great pizza. The garden veggie ordered crispy is muy bueno. Good place for family or group meetings. I’d go again.

Not great by any standards. Salad bar gave me food poisoning last night (4÷6÷15). The cleanliness of the building /​table should have been the first sign to run.
The owner /​manager is a woman about 55 years old and she seems to be a dictator of a boss, but herself not a good representative of the company either.
Terrible. So many great pizza places in town, don’t go here.

I had a horrible customer service experience for delivery.
I was trying to get delivery to a location without a physical address (temporary work site trailer). I knew going in that it was difficult to get delivery without a physical location even though it was very easy to find. I was willing to take the time to give clear directions and provide a larger tip for my driver for their trouble. I started out calling the Dana Point location. When I explained that I was off of Exit 79 they told me the San Clemente location was much closer because they were off of Exit 80. When I called San Clemente and started to explain where to deliver the employee cut me off an told me that they don’t deliver that far. I told her that I was only one exit away and the Dana Point location recommended them because of their proximity. She just told me they don’t deliver that far again and I should call Pizza Hut or Dominos. If they had told me that their drivers use GPS and it would be too difficult find without a physical address I would understand, but don’t tell a blatant lie…
tldr: Rather than take the time to get directions to my location (without a physical address), employee taking orders lied saying they don’t deliver that far (one whole exit up the freeway).

I’ve been ordering carry out and delivery here since I moved in November of 2013. The food is usually pretty good. I’ve had better Round Table, but I feel that even subpar Round Table is better than Costco and Pizza Hut, which are the other two options nearby.
The carry out and delivery service is average for a franchise.
I’m writing this review because the owner ordered me two medium pizzas and 3 garlic twists, when I only wanted one medium pizza.
When I called she sounded busy, which is normal for Tuesday, but she was yelling at someone while on the phone with me (possibly saying, «you’re fired!») and telling me what I wanted based on my previous order. That was fine for one of the pizzas.
I wanted to add half pepperoni on the single pizza I ordered, but she ordered me a whole other half pepperoni pizza.
The delivery guy came, and I didn’t want to make the kid sit there while I called her and make him take back the pizza that I didn’t order. I just sighed and paid for both pizzas and called her immediately.
She told me that she repeated my order 3 times, which is impossible because she hung up on me like the building was on fire.
She said sorry and hung up. The least I expected was a 2 dollar discount from a medium pizza coupon that I had (that I obviously didn’t know I needed to use).
I also had a 15% your purchase order coupon. They give out coupons like napkins, but she didn’t even want to offer a discount on my NEXT order. Maybe she knew there wouldn’t be one.
I overpaid and bought dinner that I didn’t order. Period.
Z pizza for me and all my friends from now on.
At least over paying at Z pizza is worth it.

Friendly staff and great service! I’ve been coming here for years. When I arrived at 12:00 for the lunch buffet they were pulling out 3 fresh pizzas.
The salad bar has some good choices. And they are constantly keeping up on it to keep it clean and stocked. If only they had the same buffet deal on Saturdays.
Make sure you get some of the garlic twists with some ranch. Boom in your mouth!!!

Ok I think it’s about time someone writes a more UP TO DATE review of this place, and that someone would be ME :)
The staff at this Round Table are always friendly and greet you with a smile. The owner is really on top of everything and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves. She’s friendly and welcoming. She’s a bit more serious with her staff but I get that.
The salad bar is always well stocked with fresh veggies, and the buffet is constantly reloaded with fresh pizza.
If you come in and choose the buffet, they ask you which type of pizza you would like in particular so they can make it for you to add to the buffet. ***** I think that’s awesome cause they don’t just choose to put one topping pizzas out.
Last time I was there, my boys (one is a teenager and the other just a beast) asked for an all meat pizza to be made. The pizza was out by the time they finished their salads. There was also a BBQ chicken pizza on the buffet, pepperoni, and a gourmet veggie with artichoke hearts. All were so good, the crust is perfect, not too thick.
Round table is really family friendly, I’m sure it gets lively when there are team parties or birthday parties in there but it doesn’t bother me. It has been really mellow the last few times I’ve been there. There are large TV’s for viewing sports and a nice game room for the kids.
I’ve always had a good experience here. Check it, Check it, yeah :)
