San Clemente Dance & Performing Arts Center offers a wide range of dance classes for all ages!

Our talented staff makes San Clemente Dance & Performing Arts Center the première studio of South Orange County. We urge you to stop by the studio and take a class. You will be excited about the energy that is going on under our roof. We offer classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and Tumbling. From ages 2 through adults, beginning through advanced, with more additions to come throughout the season!

Auditions are held once a year for our Nationally Ranked Competition Teams.

We are also an ABT National Training Curriculum Affiliate Ballet School.

History

Established in 1995.

San Clemente Dance & Performing Arts Center was established in 1995 by Judy Corfman Kelly. Her love for dance, high standards of teaching, and belief in addressing the individual needs of each student will always remain an integral part of this school. It is our hope that her spirit of love and dedication will continue to touch the lives of all who take classes here.

Our state of the art facility is located at 1321 Calle Avanzado in the Talega Business Park. Our studio is over 5,700 square feet and is equipped with 3 air conditioned dance studios. Each has custom sprung dance floors, providing resilience or give, that dancers need to help protect their joints and muscles from injury.

They have a warm staff of administrators & instructors who take great care in addressing every dancer based on their ability levels & goals — from the youngest beginners to the dancers who aspire to dance competitively to the dancers who want to pursue dance as a career.

We LOVE this place! My daughter tried a different dance center before my mother in law hit the jackpot and found this one!!! The office staff is great and the teachers are AMAZING, my almost 6 year old daughter has learned so much. They really emphasize on teaching them the essentials/​basics and make recommendations according to your child’s needs/​improvements, they don’t just push you into signing up for whatever class, they actually take the time to find you the right class (es) for your child. We highly recommend it! I’m very pleased with my daughter’s progress and can’t wait to see how much more she’ll improve this year!

Fabulous dance studio! They pride themselves in excellent training, friendly customer interaction and the perfect blend between art, fun and hard work. They don’t just treat your child like a business opportunity but they genuinely love each and every student. The director Michelle is a true professional and greets every student/​parent who walks through the door by first name. The instructors have impressive resumes, experience and passion for dance and their students. Along with nationally ranked competitive dance teams, they put together fantastic recitals and other performances throughout the year, including their Annual «Dance For a Cure» where they put on a benefit show raising money for charity. Styles offered are ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and musical theater. Check this place out… it’s worth it!!! :)
