The Shipping Outlet is located in San Clemente between Staples and the 99¢ Only Store. We are an authorized shipping center for UPS an FedEx. In 2008 we were named on the of top 100 shippers for UPS. We are also an agent for PENSKE TRUCK RENTAL, renting both local and one-​way trucks for residential and commercial.

The Shipping Outlet also excepts payments for over 500 companies including: Cox Communication, Verizon, SDGE, The Gas Company, AT&T, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Other services include: packaging, copy center, mailbox rentals, box sales, Notary service, and passport photos.

Established in 1989.

The Shipping Outlet opened in 1989 as a Mail Box etc., later changing the name in 1998.

I’ve worked with the Shipping Outlet for years. As a restorer of vintage automotive trim pieces, I have to choose my shipping group carefully. Bill and Jake have made the effort to know my business, so they understand just how secure and safe these pieces must be to travel the distance. They’ve won my complete trust over the years, going the extra mile to take all the worry and trouble out of my shipping needs. I’m blessed to have professionals here in town, so close by. It simply does not get any better!

Terrible service. I asked for over night shipping, because of how close is was being shipped they suggested I send it regular mail and said it would be there the same time. Two weeks later the package still hasn’t arrived and they told me it must be lost and there is nothing they can do. Really wish I wouldn’t have been given this horrible advice from them.

I have very complicated international shipments as I never have to worry about the paper work because of the level of detail and service. Okay so I sell a lot of stuff online and come here when I need to ship things abroad and domestically. Bill and jake are both knowledgeable and honest, they don’t overcharge and their humor keeps me coming back, I can see if you don’t get their humor they can come across as a little rough around the edges but when you understand them they are actually two of the nicest guys you will ever meet. The rates are reasonable and they have everything you would need to ship or they can do it for you. Great professional relationship.

DO NOT rent a car from here — the van we picked up was covered in Dog hair and smelled like smoke! We had the van for 5 days — and were charged a $ 50 cleaning fee & we had daily insurance. When I called to inquire about the charge the owner was no help at all and pawned me off to the corporate hertz. its a scam. SAVE the HEADACHE don’t rent from here!

Don’t rent a car or truck here! Flexible hours and no service on Sat afternoon-​Monday am requires you to return the vehicle with a full tank and park it in the middle of the mall parking lot (close to entrance or in back will result in towing). Lack of security means you run a high risk of siphoned gas and vehicle vandalism. Other reviews indicate this is a frequent occurrence. I was charged $ 74 for a «flat tire» and didn’t find out about it until Hertz emailed me the receipt.
As you can see from the other postings the owner completely lacks empathy and responsibility. Hertz quotes the fine print — you take the fall. As a Hertz Gold member, I recommend Enterprise San Clemente or Hertz Dana Point (Marriott). Same rates but better hours and security. Not sure what value Hertz sees in this dealer relationship.

Hertz Rental is located in the Shipping Outlet in San Clemente. After my car was towed, I took advantage of the AAA service to rent me a car for a day. San Clemente Auto shop called Rick at the Hertz rental car service for me. Rick was so knowledgeable and helpful. There were no cars available that day, so I needed to be on the waitlist. While I sat at San Clemente Auto shop, Rick called me and said that a car had just arrived that I could have. AAA paid the first day and I ended up paying only $ 29 for the additional day and got a brand new six-​cylinder Nissan Maxima. Needless to say, I was very happy to have gotten to my hotel in Hollywood in time for a great concert at the Greek Theater. Thank you Rick. And thank you for the ride back to the Auto shop to get my car.
I will continue doing business with this great company. Thanks Rick.

As a fine artist, I uses The Shipping Outlet for the packing and shipping of my paintings and prints. I have never once had an issue with damage or a package not arriving. Bill and Doug are very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I am a customer for life.
