Sugaring Studio

Love, love, LOVE Carly! I started going to her when I bought a groupon for sugaring studio. I have to say I am very glad I decided to go to the San Clemente location because Carly is AMAZING! Since using my groupon, I have been back to see Carly twice, and I just booked my third appointment!
I think it’s important to mention I am terrible with pain, and I was terrified to try sugaring. I had never tried waxing, so I had nothing to compare it to.
I won’t lie and say it was painless, but I am being 100% honest when I say that Carly makes it as painless as possible.
Also, did I mention what a FANTASTIC job Carly does!!! I am extremely satisfied with the results, as is my boyfriend!
Going and getting sugared is my new thing, and I would recommend it to anyone (I have already talked my friends’ ears off about how great sugaring is), and I may be biased, but Carly is the best at it!

Carly is ammmmazzzing! Had heard about her from some coworkers… Then I found her on Groupon. The reviews DO NOT DO HER JUSTICE! So nice! So professional! So awesome! She made me feel so comfortable and so at ease. Definitely my go-​to for all sugaring needs from this point forward!!! Zero pain!

This was my first time sugaring and I am very happy with the results! I usually wax but I have been hearing a lot about sugaring so I decided to try it for myself. It was quick and easy and the pain level is about the same as when I wax. Carly also recommended an anti-​ingrown hair serum that you can buy there, I can’t wait to try it!
She has her dog in the office, which is ok because he is so well behaved, unless you’re like me and are afraid of big dogs at first lol
Overall I thought it was a good experience!

Carly is by far one of the best sugar experts out there. Her superior knowledge of the product and service line made me feel very comfortable. Her personable character and positive attitude is a plus

Carly is the best! She numbed me up. We watched tv and laughed. I can honestly say the best hair removal experience I have ever had! Not painless but she does know how to help it by adding pressure. Great experience all around and not dreading my next visit!

I have been waxing for a long time and stumbled upon Sugaring Studio on Groupon. Bought it and made an appointment for the next day.
So it’s appointment only. I like that. Oh! I thought this was worth mentioning. My appointment was at 7p and upon request she was happy to move it up an hour. Flexible. :)
Tucked away in San Clemente, Sugaring Studio is a real treat. The room is small. Only you, Carly, and her dog (who is very, very well behaved and doesn’t interfere at all). I quite enjoy that. I find that places where you can hear other people (and sometimes get walked in on) are very creepy. This is total opposite. And she had Netflix playing. Buffy was on when I came in.
Carly is a doll! She explains the difference between Sugaring and Waxing and tests the product on the back of your hand before starting.
She’s super easy to talk to and offered me a speedy version of the sugaring in case I didn’t have time. I had nothing better to do so I opted for the «not speedy» option and it still only took like 20 minutes, which is NOTHING.
I am so sad that I’m here for a wedding and can’t be a regular (or even hang out with Carly).
Seriously, great procedure. Great location. Everything was fabulous. Treat yourself, go see Carly. You won’t be disappointed.

I too have been waxing for a long time and really wanted to try out sugaring. So I looked up sugaring on Groupon, purchased it for the Sugaring Studio, and went to the San Clemente location. It is a small, intimate room, and her dog is in the corner, but you don’t even realize he’s there (he is super handsome!). Carly is amazing. She was very informative and is super friendly. Her service was great; not too quick but not too long; she really takes time to assess her work, and asks your preference.
Little things that I like about her service that others may not pay attention to:
She applies pressure to the area she’s just sugared. This to me makes a huge difference in the pain level! She also doesn’t let you all «hang out» either and gives you the comfort of covering whatever area is not being serviced yet. She was very thorough and provided great tips on how to maintenance the newly sugared area. I have converted to sugaring from waxing after her service! I wish I still lived in OC to continue to see her and am now on a hunt in SD to find service just like Carly’s!

Carly is the absolute best, she made me feel extremely comfortable. Her salon was clean smelled nice, and she plays Netflix for you. It was my first sugar experience and Carly explained everything to me and tested the sugar on the back of my hand first. I will definitely be coming back to see Carly, and kona!

My first time ever! Had the most amazing experience! I went to the one in Costa Mesa, it’s hard to find at first because they don’t have a big sign, but I love that it’s a big private room. It’s super nice and clean inside! I did my sugaring with Jessica and she practically turned into a best friend! That’s how comfortable she makes you feel and she answers all your questions. For me my skin is sensitive, so I could never do waxing, and I have a lot & thick hair in areas. I didn’t think sugaring would work for me, but when I decided to try it I booked with Jessica. The results are fantastic! I honestly couldn’t be any more happier! And it is true about the sugar exfoliating dead skin as you’re getting sugar your skin is beyond smooth and I didn’t get any bumps or redness or any irritation. And that’s surprising because I get red for anything! As well for the hair coming back it didn’t start growing out for 3 weeks, but it comes back thinner and less. Plus I just got started and I book my appointment every 5 weeks and as I said before I have a lot/​thick hair … It really does work! Being consistent is key!

Might be the nicest person I’ve ever met. Clean studio, takes time to explain everything, makes you feel comfortable!!! You feel at ease with Carly, like you’ve known her forever. Yes, a few jumps but better than waxing!!! I felt clean when I left not all sticky. GO. You’ll be happy you did. She is a pro!

What a fantastic experience! Carly was very informative and took her time taking care of my very first sugaring. It was super easy to make the appointment. Her studio is clean and very cute. She was very kind and gave me tips on how to maintain a healthy skincare routine. My skin is very sensitive — I expected to be red for hours! But after a short time, my skin calmed and already looks clearer and softer. I look forward to scheduling my next appointment in the next few weeks! Thanks so much! :)

Carly is great at sugaring. I went with girlfriends and she was very supportive and encouraging for my first brazilian. Although it was painful and I wanted to quit a couple times she helped me endure the treatment and I was very pleased with my results. Unfortunately I haven’t been back because the booking is difficult. If it weren’t for that I would totally go back.

My first sugar experience was rad! Carly is a pro, fast, knowledgable and friendly!

I am a professional waxer as well but I’m currently on maternity leave and don’t work in the area but live here. I wanted to try sugaring. I’m very happy w the results and will def be back.
I’m a total baby when it comes getting waxed myself. It deff wasn’t plain less but I felt as comfortable as possible. I feel that sugaring is equivalent to reg hard wax in the pain area maybe even alittle more painful… But I am preg so I’m prob just more sensitive. I did like the reaction on my skin much better tho. No bumps, stickyness, or redness. And I have pretty sensitive skin.
Don’t hesitate to book! Coming from another professional If your looking for a good clean comfortable place to go deff go here for your waxing needs! I will def refer all my friends in the area :)

This studio for keeping my body bikini ready is perfect! Carly is an expert technician and provides a great service. Sugaring is so much better for me than waxing has been, although it was new to me. I really appreciate the studio’s cleanliness, parking is easy and the attention to detail that Carly provides with her service.
Highly recommend this sugaring studio especially if you are new to sugaring and are looking for a female tech. Carly is a professional and has taken great care to help her clients to feel cozy, relaxed and at home here.

I have become a complete Sugar addict! I will never be able to go back to regular waxing again! Carly is the absolute best. She’s so sweet, quick and makes it almost pain free (almost haha)
I used to get my face waxed and would always end up with a breakout a few days later. I promise this does not happen with sugaring. Carly also gave me my first Brazilian ever and Let’s just say I can’t believe I waited so long! Totally hooked.

I’m addicted, not just to Sugaring, but to the sweet sweet Sugar Pie that is Carly. What a wonderful, smart and beautiful lady. Not only does Carly have this awesome way of putting you at ease, I mean, come on thats a gift, how many chicks do you know can make you feel at ease when you are butt naked and getting hair pulled!
I don’t need to sell you on sugaring, Carly is the pro– she can do that. What I can promise you that if you are a Brazilian fan, or a first timer like me, you will be in very very good hands with this lady.
As an update, I’ve had Carly sugar pretty much every part of me now (apart from under arms still to scared hahaha!) And she is still my fav. I’m super excited for her new Lash girl to join her too! Everything I need all in one spot!

Just did this last night! So awesome I’m still amazed! We did a Sugar Party since it was a party of 5+ and she had cheese, crackers, & wine for us! The studio itself is small but its so cute! Carly was sooo sweet & professional!
This was my first time waxing ever anything besides my eyebrows so I was a little nervous. Carly told me it’s not waxing it’s Sugaring and now I understand why. I feel that it’s quicker & much neater than waxing. My friend invited me since I was looking into getting waxed since I am going on vacation to Miami in a week. I mentioned it to Carly as well so she did a great job taking care of me/​us! Just a LITTLE pain but that’s it. She made me feel very comfortable the whole time. I did the brazilian. After one time I think I’m hooked lol. Definitely get your friends and all try it together with a Sugar Party!
