Kyndall was brilliant with my color and cut and very educational on ways to do my hair and keep it healthy. I was finished so much faster than anticipated and my hair was beautiful! She is amazing, highly recommended!

I saw their groupon and thought I should call and see if they could use the cut and color for an ombré. The lady on the phone called me back and said they could do that just not to buy the groupon and pay for it in the salon. I let them know that I had extensions I had purchased that I wanted my hair to match and at that time my hair was brown/​red. When I arrived it was obvious I wasn’t assigned to a hair stylist because the lady said so much for a day off and had me take a seat her name is Kyndell. The entire time she did not offer me a beverage or even tried to make small talk. Instead she talked with everyone except me and my sister in law who was with me. She would even go off and start working on other peoples hair without letting me know or saying anything. When I showed her my hair extensions she acted as though she had no experience with coloring and said she would try but could not guarantee anything. The way she was saying it was making me want to jump from the chair and leave because I was afraid of what was going to happen. She was a bit rough with my hair while dying it and during the shampoo it felt like she was digging her nails into my scalp. The only question any of the girls asked me was while one of the other ladies rinsed my hair and asked if I was from san clemente other then that it was like I wasn’t even there. My hair came out better then expected the brown was darker but still has some red in it and the blond matches well enough. They acted shocked and said she did the impossible. It was a simple bleach, brown dye some toner and a lot of waiting. She also would mention her other appointments to me as well which I felt was highly unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone or return for future business.

After laboriously growing out my hair through the awkward phase — I went to another salon & got a really bad color job/​uneven unblended layers setting back my work growing it. It made absolutely no sense the damage that was done to my hair — and I didn’t feel comfortable returning to the stylist.
A friend referred me to Syren, and although it was a bit of a drive for me –so worth it. Miller salvaged my hair by correcting the color and taking a few inches off as well as blending the layers– not an easy task. I left feeling much better & was impressed she took such a bad situation and created a cute cut from it–

I get a great cut every time I am there. Super friendly and easy to get scheduled. Kali is great for a men’s cut.

I haven’t had my hair cut at least 5 years and can’t tell you how happy I am with the cut Kali gave me today. She is an absolute pro and has a great personality to boot. Just had a cut + highlights from Kyndall — WOW! I never like the way my hair turns out with highlights (usually either too streaky or too boring) but Kyndall hit the perfect balance of natural yet noticeable. I am very happy!

I’ve been going to Jennie here at Syrens for 10+ years. Honestly, I’ve tried other places but I ALWAYS come back to Jennie. She does the best job and Im always walking out feeling confident with my hair.
The shop is always clean and has a warm feeling to it. If you haven’t tried out this salon I highly recommend it!!!

I specifically like 2 things about Syrens… the first: The music is always good, not the grocery store crap you hear when your shopping at Albertsons on Pico. The second: Kyndall. I get my hair cut here weekly to stay sharp and Kyndall never fails! She is an excellent stylist and also very personable. My GF is also now a client and is always happy when she gets home from a cut.

I called Syrens a week before I was getting eloped on the beach to set an appointment for a formal updo. I was only travelling to San Clemente for the wedding so I did not have a local stylist and I was booked with Kalli. I brought a picture of what I was looking for and some pretty pins. Kalli listened to everything I was looking for and worked with me to make modifications to the style along the way. She listened to how my ceremony was on the beach and made sure to style my hair so that it would keep even in the wind. The end result was a gorgeous pin-​curl, almost architectural updo that stayed in place and looked gorgeous in my photographs from all angles. I am so happy I got lucky enough to have my hair styled by Kalli because my hair turned out perfect for my special day!

Such a cute little salon perfectly placed in downtown San Clemente. So happy to have found a local salon. Addisen worked on my hair yesterday and I felt completely comfortable letting her do whatever she wanted with my hair. I will definitely be returning!

Lea has been doing my hair for years! She does amazing color and a great cut! She keeps me the sun-​kissed blonde I was when I was young!
Cool environment. They’ve recently upgraded the décor… great vibe. I love the Del Mar St. location and the easy-​going staff.
