1 Look Back Photography

We used Mike Blomberg as our wedding photographer and were extremely pleased with the album of pictures he created of our wedding ceremony and reception. We spoke with Mike briefly on the phone only just prior to our wedding and he was able to put together a wonderful album of pictures capturing all the special moments that we had hoped for. Mike and his wife, Ellie, make a great team, working together to capture great pictures throughout our wedding ceremony and reception. They took pictures of us on the beach following the ceremony with amazing backgrounds and also took many group pictures with friends and family without making us feel as though we were constantly posing for pictures. They captured many candid pictures and special moments for us throughout the evening and because of this we will always be able to reflect back on our special night.
Following the wedding, Mike immediately sent us a few pictures over email to view and share with friends. Then in a very short amount of time following that, Mike sent us a link to our entire, edited album and also very quickly mailed out the DVD with the album of all our pictures. Mike and Ellie were very easy to work with and very efficient with editing the pictures and mailing the completed album to us. We would highly recommend them as your wedding photographers!

I was recommended to use 1 Look Back photography by a mutual acquaintance and was so glad we were referred. I needed a photographer for my wedding that was at the downtown City Administration office and wanted to take pictures afterwards at Balboa Park. I contacted the photographer, Mike, and discussed what our budget was and where we wanted to be married and photos taken. Mike was awesome and very professional throughout. He communicated with me right away and was willing to work within our budget. Since I do not know much about weddings and what to expect with photography I was very nervous about what to expect. Mike was so helpful and even notified me ahead of time that the City Admin office made a mistake with our reservations. Mike was so friendly and willing to work with whatever we wanted while also giving great suggestions. It was such a relief to see him on time and early before our ceremony and also he was punctual when meeting us at other photo locations. All my friends and family commented that Mike was a great photographer, very friendly, and funny! He really made the whole experience special. After the wedding Mike was nice enough to send us a quick e-​mail of a few of his favorite pictures he snapped of us. Shortly after he posted the pictures online to the 1 look back website so we can see the pictures. Then shortly after that he sent us a wonderful photo package with the photo disk in a nice leather book. Also included in the package was a musical slideshow where he put together our pictures. All in all there was nothing I could say negatively about our experience. I would definitely contact Mike again in the future for photography.

Both are very professional, committed to excellence, and actually make a photo session fun. They work very hard to deliver the kind of «look/​feel» you are searching for in what seems like record time; the sessions don’t drag on and on. They are perfectionists and at the same time they move quickly.
Ellie and Mike both have a very creative eye and can make any subject beautiful and any setting look masterful. They work hard to turn photos around quickly (and sometimes under very tight deadlines; smile).

Ellie is the best! She is fun and professional, and really has an eye for style, lighting, composition, and brings the best out in you! She’s so easy going, that it makes it more comfortable to get your picture taken. But she also gives gentle direction, so you end up with great results! I recommend her highly!!! It really doesn’t get any better… And Mike is awesome too! :)
