I went in for their invisalign groupon and was very satisfied with the service and treatment. I am now done with the invisalign and have since made them my primary dentist.

Great Doctor, very professional, Very friendly and cares for your well-​being. My appointments have been prompt and started on time for the most part. I have had trouble parking, but overall the service has been on point.

Dr. Nikiani was very helpful in addressing my issues and coming to a positive result and smile for me. I am leaving a very satisfied customer.

I just completed my Invisalign treatment today. I am very pleased with how things went. I only had one issue with poor communication involving a filling of mine, but Dr. Niakiani called me personally to apologize and she made it right immediately. I understand that things like that happen sometimes, and to me personally it is how they are handled that matters the most. Paul at the front desk is very helpful and friendly, as is the rest of the staff. It is very clean and equipped with state of the art technology. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I’m about halfway through my Invisalign treatment, and I want to commend the professionalism and honesty of Dr. Niakiani.
Most of us know when we’re being fed a line of bull – especially topics related to our health – but Dr. Niakiani is perhaps the most honest doctors I’ve ever met, and she has a very eloquent way of communicating the care she’s providing and will tell you the truth about what may or may not work for you, even if that means turning someone away.
The Invisalign treatment has been pretty straightforward and easy so far (excepts for that first tray after the midway point… wow that one’s a doozy!), and I’d highly recommend 6^th Ave Perio. to anyone who’s considered a good candidate for Invisalign.

I found this place through Groupon and paid only a third of what the Invisalign treatment actually costs. Also, probably the best teeth cleaning service I ever had! This is why I actually ended up switching from my old dentist to 6^th avenue. Cons: Parking spots are tiny. But the place is located downtown so I guess, tiny spots in the garage are better than parallel parking on the street.

Dr. Niakhiani was very thorough with my Invisalign treatment. I came to her office with pretty straight teeth to begin with, and nit-​picked my way to a brilliant smile. She was very patient with all of the additional corrections I wanted to make, and offered solutions to achieve the smile I wanted. The staff was friendly and to the point. I will continue to come to the office for checkups and cleanings.

STAY FAR AWAY!!! I don’t even know how this office received the Invisalign Elite Provider Award for 2015. I had the most awful experience and I wasn’t even an existing patient of theirs!
1. The office is not managed properly. They overbook consultations with existing patients and do not meet you at the appointment time that you booked. Their excuse is «we are overbooked.» I waited over 30 minutes and no one cared to check with me.
2. Their staff is unprofessional and inconsiderate. The receptionist is a joke. She did not greet me with a pleasant attitude and did not check on me during my LONG wait time. If someone is going to be late or misses their appointment, their policy is to charge them. However, when I take time out of my busy schedule to drive all the way here and wait because of poor management on your part, you clearly do not value my time. Clearly a double standard here.
3. Compared to other offices, they did not offer me water/​drinks or ask me if everything was ok. Horrible first impression and I would never want to come here again.
4. Another person came into the office and had issues parking. They do not provide this information upfront or before your appointment and expect you to figure it out on your own.

I wrote a review on Unilocal some time ago but couldn’t find it here, months later.
Have been going to Dr. Niakiani for almost a year for an implant. Several grafts have been done and as most, am very anxious to have the implant completed.
The staff and Dr. Niakiani are very pleasant, the office is beautiful and comfortable and the wait time is almost non-​existent. Hopefully, on my next visit, I’ll be done :-)

They always take care of any issues I have! So far happy with my Invisalign and other services with them.

Dr. Niakiani is very professional, knowledgable, and great at answering questions. Office staff is pleasant. You can tell people are happy working there. The dental hygienist Julie is the best! Parking is in a garage underground, but you have to call as space is limited. All round, it is a great run office.

Today was my last invisalign day! I am VERY pleased with the results! During the summers i drive up to Sacramento for my job and they were very flexible allowing me to take half a years worth of aligners so that i could finish my treatment on time. I never had an issue and everyone was super friendly to me!

I’ve been a client with this office for over 2 years. I have no complaints. Everyone at the office is very kind and professional. My schedule is crazy with work, and they have always worked with me and the times that I am available.
I live downtown so it’s simple for me with this office being so close. I get all my cleanings and checkups done here twice a year. I also went through them for my Invisalign treatment. Which I just finished and I am very happy with the outcome. The Invisalign package I received was great, with follow up appointments every so often to make sure that everything was ok. I also received a whitening package following the Invisalign treatment. 6^th Avenue Periodontics just made everything convenient. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve already referred a few friends to this office and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work! Thanks!

I highly recommend this dental office. Dr. Nikiani made me feel at ease during my dental implant placement.

Always had a good experience here. All the assistants and hygienists are really friendly even though one was a Philly Eagles fan and Im a Cowboys fan.

Been with this dentist for over 2 years because I already had service already paid and there’s no way that they could just refund me with it. But as soon as that got fulfilled, I got out from their office really fast. No way I’m coming back here.

Cons:
1. Billing is inconsistent. At some point, I got a bill of $ 300 something. I paid it right away since it’ll be overdue before my next appointment and I do not like driving there just for that reason. I discussed it with their biller on my next visit. It turned out, the bill was $ 300 something because insurance hasn’t paid for it. I got a refund for the whole thing. But imagine if I didn’t brought it up? And for regular cleaning, I never understand how I got billed for it for $ 30 or $ 45 when I always told them I’m just getting the regular cleaning which my insurance covers 100%!
2. My front tooth now has a small concave shape when Dr Niakaiani was working on the tooth beside it. I was soooo angry about it. I know it was a small shaving but I could see it and it would still bother me when I looked at it in the mirror.
3. One receptionist there would answer the phone & she would always sound grumpy. She never gives her name and just very dismissive.
4. Parking garage is not always a guarantee that you could park down there. It means you’ll have to park somewhere and pay for the meter if their garage is full.
5. At the end of my invisalign treatment, I had to pay for the retainers. Retainers took months before I was able to get ahold of them. At some point, I was at their office twice already for those d***n retainers and was just told that they weren’t ready. And yes, I did call to confirm first that they were ready before driving 13 miles to downtown.
6. Finally, I got the retainers. But what a huge DISAPPOINTMENT! The retainers for upper teeth has rugged edges in them. And yes, they scratch my lips & gums but since I’m only gonna be wearing them at night, I took it. But the lower retainer was just unforgivable. I can’t even describe how crappy it was made. It won’t fit in my lower teeth so their suggestion was to cut it to make it fit. Sounds like a joke right? BUT YES that was their option which I refused because that means my teeth will be moving if I’m not wearing the retainers with the right shape. Finally, they went ahead with my request to make me another retainer for the lower teeth at no extra charge. After I got that, I vowed to never come back at this dental office ever.

I needed to have a implant done for sometime and while my wife and I were visiting San Diego, I decided took for a look for a dentist in the area. We found Dr Niakiani through the Groupon app. When my wife and I arrived at the office we both met with the doctor and spoke about what needed to be done. We came up with a game plan, I had two implants just today and I am going to have two more in the months to come. In regards to some of the other reviews I don’t know what the reasons were why some people left bad reviews. Everyone at the office was very professional and the doctor performed probably the best and least painful work I have ever had done and sad to say but I have spent many hours in the dental chair in my life time. I Rated them five stars only because I can’t rate them more.

the first visit there was helpful. The nice lady who did my cleaning was attentive and very good at her job.
Dr. N gave me a call after my posting today and has indicated she will do what she can to make me a happy patient. i have rescheduled a apt for Monday.

My recent appointment was fast and helpful. Dr. N checked in on me. I think she is making a great effort to connect with her patients. :) Great experience with my first set of Invisalign trays. My first set of tray feel snug with a good amount of pressure and after one week I feel less pressure which means we are moving in the right direction.

I am really looking forward to having my teeth straight. I was once a braces-​face. Honestly, braces were the best thing that ever happened to me. As time has passed, my teeth decided to shift around doing some kind of jig or hokie-​pokie. Not a lot of movement but enough for it to bother me but probably not anyone else.
I have been contemplating Invisalign since 2010 and have talked myself out of it more than once. On occasion I have called a provider and gotten a less then cooperative response from the dental office and put it off again.
Yes, I got an email from Groupon about this Invisalign deal. I take it as a sign to get into gear with my goal.
When I called 6^th Ave Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, Paul answered and quickly helped me make an appointment for a free consultation. Shortly there after he sent me online forms to fill out. Which I found to be a great option. Take care of paperwork before you get to your appointment saves a lot of time.
Important FYI — When you drive to this location be prepared to call (619) 702‑7113 so that they can open the gate for you to enter their parking structure. There are 3 spaces saved for 6^th Ave. Periodontics.

The machine used for my x-​rays was something out of a Sci-​Fi show. While you wait you can watch TV and water bottles are provided.
Dr. Niakiani came out to greet and speak with me about my options after a staff person gave me the run down. She took a look at my x-​ray and fortunately I had no cavities. Heck, I’ve been to the dentist twice a year my whole life so I can even tell when I am cavity free this time. :D
What I was told was that I am expected to pay for a first and last dental cleaning at $ 79 each. OK? A third one is HIGHLY recommended. The retainer is an additional cost of upwards of $ 400, but I DO KNOW how IMPORTANT a good retainer is. I told them, when we get to the end of my treatment it would be better to discuss retainers and fees again.
Today, there was a scheduling hiccup. It is causing a postponement of my 1^st appointment. I don’t want to come in multiple times if it isn’t necessary (one time for a cleaning and then another time for an initial Invisalign Scan). Let’s be efficient and effective. I don’t want to miss work more than I have to. I find this a bit troublesome and reminiscent of what previous posting on Unilocal.But Paul was able to find me a space where HOPEFULLY both tasks can be done on the same day back-​to-​back.
I REALLY REALLY want this Invisalign thing to work. Over the last 25 year my teeth have done some minor relocating by themselves. I am excited about putting these little suckers back into alignment.
I grew up being teased in elementary and middle school. I went through PAINFUL wisdom tooth extraction with an oral surgeon and extreme and highly uncomfortable orthodontal work was done over a 2 year period to give me a beautiful smile. I really attribute my braces to a significant boost in self-​confidence and even success in my professional and personal life. Those 2 years (oral surgery included) were worth every single moment of suffering.
I am hopeful and excited. Under Dr. Niakiani’s care I feel certain that the minor misalignments that I now have, will be a thing of the past. Dr Niakiani said she will do her best to complete my Invisalign in a year’s time or less while still giving me quality treatments. Others may need treatment longer due to severity of misalignment. 1 year is how long the Groupon is useful for (fine print) $ 2000 for 12 months, cleanings and retainers not included.
The jury is deliberating. Please wish me luck on finding my stunning smile once again. I’ll keep you posted. I gots stars and I love Unilocaling ‘em up.

So I have to say I was a little skeptical about purchasing Invisalign treatment through Groupon. I went to the official Invisalign website and verified that Dr. Niakiani truly was an elite provider. I decided to go for the free consultation which was offered before actually purchasing the groupon.
At the consultation I was given an estimated treatment time as well as informed of the additional costs associated with the treatment plan. I am about 2 months into treatment now and have not encountered any surprise costs as of yet. The cost of everything, including the additional cleanings they make you pay for, was still cheaper than other quotes I have received.
My experience was a little rocky at first because their scanner machine to send a digital impression for customized aligners was broken and I was called to reschedule 3 different times before it was fixed. Also, when I got the buttons placed on my teeth I had to go back twice in the first week because two fell off. Since the buttons have been replaced I have not had any further issues. It wasn’t a problem getting an appointment quickly and the office has always been on time with appointments. I have never had to wait past my appointment time to be seen. Each time I’ve been there Dr. Niakiani has passed by to check and see how things are going and see if I have any questions.
The office does have free parking if you call them and ask them to open the gate. There are only 2 parking spots reserved for that office and the parking garage is a very tight space. If it wasn’t for my backup camera I probably would not be able to park there.
Overall I have been satisfied with my experience so far. I still have about 7 months of my treatment plan left so I obviously can’t rate the end results as well as tell if my treatment plan will have to be extended beyond the projected 9 months. I can say I have noticed a difference with my teeth and they do look noticeably straighter already.
