One of the better places to meet guys after 2am in little Italy. Mostly because it’s right between Kettner exchange and craft & commerce. Maybe have cigarettes and pizza ready to just grab one passing by. I have noticed pepperoni was the best bait.

Meh. An employee started talking to me in the pheodphile voice from family guy… just because I’m much shorter than your average person. I’ve never met this guy before and I wasn’t appreciative about being interrogated about my purchases or made fun of at 11 pm on a Friday night. Granted its close to where I live, otherwise I wouldn’t go. The other staff members are very nice though.

I recently went to San Diego for a business trip. My hotel was a few block from this 7-Eleven. It was my go to place for beer, lottery tickets, quick snacks, etc. It was always very clean. It’s well-lit and doesn’t have the cramped feeling that many 7-Elevens have.

This 7 – 11 gets a good rating because everytime I or we(the hus & I) come in the cashier is always super nice and because I consistently forget things at the grocery store we seem to be in here a lot. Now I will admit that their selection isn’t as vast as some other sev-o’s in the neighborhood, but they have most of the basics and it’s right across the street from our loft so I really can’t complain. Plus they consistently have my late night favorites, ice cream sandwiches, oreo cookies and diet coke.

Crowded, but efficient. There was a street festival going on in Little Italy, which I think added to their business that day, but everyone lined up orderly and the one person working was able to handle it just fine. I got an egg salad sandwich for lunch– not bad.

As far as 7-Eleven’s go this one has got to be one of the worst ones I’ve been to in SD. It’s tiny, grimy, has a small selection of pretty much everything, and each time I’ve been through the cashier has been really rude. I hate to knock a convenient store that is attached to my building, but for as many of these there are within the vicinity of downtown I don’t mind walking a few blocks for a Slurpee an a smile. It’s nice in terms of proximity to my apartment, but that’s about all it’s good for.

The corporate offices should close this store — very dirty, bad stocking, bad, rude employees. Needs training, needs to have cameras in this store — employees spent more time flirting with each other rather than help check-out paying customers. Plus this late Monday night Nov 16, — I suspect one employee(he) must be the reason for shrinkage. Good selection of what we needed — but didn’t like the service(or lack of it) or the dirty store. For the TV Show — Undercover Boss — The CEO should have fixed this store and its employees. Worth walking further.

Closest mini mart to my office so I come here for snacks, sodas, gum, and my chance to win millions(MegaMillions tickets). They also have an Citibank ATM so I go here to get cash. It’s clean and close to the trolley. Stop by for a slurpee.

It’s pretty cool being able to walk over here at any hour of the night and be able to pick up whatever I need. Limes, eggs, wine opener, cheeseburger flavored combos? They got it. It’s a pretty well stocked place, and the people that work there aren’t creepy assholes.
