We’ve tried several carpet cleaning services since moving to San Diego County and these folks cleaned our carpets the best BY FAR. Our youngest son had the flu, didn’t quite make it to the restroom, and so split pea soup decorated our stairs. A&M rolled in, spent a couple hours and the stains were completely gone. Better yet, and one of the complaints we had with some of their competitors, the stains STAYED gone (over a month now). Thanks!

I am very pleased with the carpet cleaning service provided by A&M. My carpet was worn, old, and dirty; this was my last resort before buying new carpet. They look AWESOME now. Of course, the carpet is still «old», but A&M did a top notch job on getting them clean. I also had 6 dining room chairs and one throw rug cleaned, all with great results. Nick was the technician and he was very nice and personable. I also appreciate that this business promptly replied to my email inquiry. In this day and age, it’s how I communicate, I don’t always have time to make phone calls. My request was also somewhat last minute and I had a specific date/​time in mind, A&M came to the rescue and my carpets have been saved.

Just had our carpets cleaned and they are spotless. Nick cleaned our carpet, and got rid of warts and all. We have two cats who leave hairball soil and even a little paw print
traffic from investigating the fireplace. All spots gone. Andy checked out measurements. Have known Andy and used his company for a long time. He’s a great guy, as is Nick. His wife, Christine, does a great job setting appointments and handling any questions, etc.
A&M is as good as it gets.

Their tech just left our place and I’m totally pleased with everything. I’m always a huge stickler for people being on time, and they were at my door right at the stroke of 10. We live in a condo that is considerably recessed from the street, and that can make it difficult to get to water for steam cleaning, but the tech was able to use the sprinkler box right outside of our place so that was super convenient. Service was quick, very good results, very good price. The tech was personable and professional– didn’t mind at all having to work around my toddlers, who are a bit of a handful. Will use again.

(I wrote this review 2 years ago and just realized that it was awaiting posting. So it has a March 2015 date, but it’s really from 2013).
These guys are great. I bought a house with lots of carpeting and wanted to get it cleaned. Andy came out with his son on pretty short notice.
They cleaned the carpets very thoroughly and were even able to remove some tough-​looking stains. Plus they’re very honest. We had agreed on a price estimate over the phone. When Andy came out he measured and said the amount of carpeting was a bit smaller than what I had told them and he dropped the price.
Overall, very satisfied.

Simply stated, they do amazing work. They make sure you are happy with the results. To top it off, they are friendly and punctual. Andy always makes sure to spend a few minutes chatting, I’ll steal another reviewer’s nickname for the «Mrs.» who is friendly, relaxed, answers calls and voicemails quickly and just sets the tone for the whole experience. :)
Zoe, my French bulldog, has had a few issues with potty training over her first year of life. I found A & M on Unilocal and am so glad I did. The carpets turn out beautifully and so soft! No smell after, just clean and soft, heaven! I felt stressed out over the puppy messes and honestly after A&M leaves, my stress level went down several notches.
Ohhh, and they take credit cards, thank goodness because I don’t usually have cash and lost my checkbook years ago.
If you need your carpets cleaned, I would encourage you to call the Mrs. and schedule an appointment! :)

Simply amazing! True story: our 8 year old woke us up at 5:30 in the morning to inform us that one of our dogs had an accident on the carpet. Needless to say it was NOT a good morning. The stench was unbearable and our cleanup efforts left a horrible stain. I immediately started calling carpet cleaners to get it steam cleaned ASAP, all to no avail. I then called A & M and spoke with Christine. She totally appreciated our predicament. She called me back within 5 minutes and had Nick cleaning our carpet within two hours after hanging up. Their customer service was amazing and the end result was better than when we moved in 2 months ago. We’re A & M customers– period! Thank you so much!

My carpet has had a lot of wear and tear — most recently with our two dogs. I wanted to have it cleaned for my daughter’s bridal shower in May. I usually use Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets, but they never responded to my requests online. I contacted A &M after reading their excellent Unilocal reviews. Christine was very quick to respond to my request, and I was very impressed with their service overall. Andy and Nick came on time, and were extremely pleasant to work with. I highly recommend A &M and will definitely be using them again.

This company definitely is 5 stars worthy! They showed up on time, take the time to go over what needed to be done and gets right to work!
Within a hour the work was done and before he left he told us that he put some of our furniture a on foam blocks so they don’t stain the carpets when it was still wet, we can remove it in about 24 hours. We have NEVER has any other carpet company do that for us before!
They said if any of the stains or odors comes back in a week, they will come out a take care of it free of charge! But it has been 2 weeks and everything still looks and smells great! So happy we found A and M! We will definitely call on them again if we ever need their service!

Unilocalers don’t lie– this husband and wife duo gets my recommendation.
Andy arrived very promptly with another staff member and got down to business! They cleaned both sets of stairs, 2 rooms all in an hour leaving behind beautifully clean carpet. I really appreciate the 8am appointment so I can still make it to work at a decent hour. I received great service and will be calling Andy and the «Mrs.» next time I need carpets cleaned.

It is a pleasure to recommend A& M Carpet Cleaning services. Five stars meaning this is as good as it gets. We had them quote to clean one room and a rug. They arrived right on time — 8:00 am ready to work!
We highly recommend them because of their good pricing, quality work, strong work ethic and polite demeanor. These are thorough professionals that know their business and literally don’t cut corners, but maintain the highest standards. My wife was especially impressed with the extra care and meticulous detail they took in making sure the living room rug was spotless!
We definitely plan to use them again if we need additional carpets cleaned. We also liked the polite thank you note for choosing their services and explaining their 30 day warranty — how many companies write a thank you note!

We just moved to San Diego and bought a house that had a lot of pet stains and general wear and tear from kids running around on the carpet. The carpet was in nasty shape when we first moved in. I called Andy right away and they really felt our pain, so much so that they scheduled an appointment ASAP. We had Andy clean one section of our house and then we had him come back several days later to clean the other remaining parts of our house that were not done the first time. He did such a good job that the carpet looked several years younger and clean enough that I now fell comfortable walking around it in my bare feet.
We felt that Andy and his wife were very accommodating with our circumstances while first moving into the new house. We usually have our carpets cleaned several times a year and we will use A&M again. The prices were also very competitive, plus Andy is super friendly!
