Description

Specialties

We specialize in the unique martial art of Aikido. We offer Aikido classes six days/week for adults (and teens 14+) of all levels. Our children’s program has classes two days/week for kids 8 – 13, and a very special class for kids 5 – 7 that runs in 8-week terms. Originally known as Aikido of Mission Valley, we’ve been a San Diego asset since 2000. ASD is for people who want a traditional martial arts experience that complements all aspects of life. Expect to be training among others who are also interested in cultivating a peaceful warrior spirit, and a more effective flow in their actions. Our members tend to be motivated and open-minded people who want to develop in body, mind, and spirit, and discover new foundations for a more effective and fulfilling relationship with life.

History

Established in 2000.

We were originally established as Aikido of Mission Valley. Under the guidance of Dave Goldberg Sensei, Aikido of San Diego has grown significantly, and has become a community of people interested not only in martial arts, but in how the practice of AIkido benefits their lives.
